Not wanting to pour water on your bonfire, but B&M are currently selling large Yankee Candles for £8.99 each, if you can get into a local store. Not sure how the range of scents compare.

The B&M ones are the Simply Home Yankees, the budget version with a weaker scent. Not really comparable I've found.

I think you have just sprayed the bonfire - not poured.

These jars you mention are discontinued by YANKEE CANDLE and now appear to be getting sold in all sorts of places that the company would not normally supply, including B&M.

Getting them at the price you highlight is 100% a bargain. They are different to what I posted though. I got £50 from YANKEE CANDLE company because the candle you sprayed over my bonfire caused lots of black soot on my walls. Quite soon after my complaint to them, the candle range was replaced with HOME INSPIRATIONS by YANKEE CANDLE. So the SIMPLY HOME ones have been bumped to B&M etc at a massive discount.

Fair play. I stand corrected.

They are fine thanks. It was Dulux emulsion so I washed them down with sugar soap and in the bathroom, the tiles were easy to clean down with Soda Crystals.

Burning candles in your home is carcinogenic, therefore voted cold.

And even more when cooking food at high temperatures, for example grilling or barbecuing meats. Especially if you cook processed or cured meat such as bacon, sausages and burgers. And if you have a drink of wine or beer. so we are all dead probably oO
And I hate to think how much stuff is come off that 4K Ultra HDTV too. So ya we're all dead oO

Banned

Correct; was highlighted by BBC's 'Trust me, I'm a doctor'.

I've seen a few comments about this (in fact someone made the same comment on the QVC/Yankee thread I started before Xmas) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/health/news/12103003/Why-scented-candles-could-cause-cancer.html

Limonene (which can degrade into formaldehyde) is also an ingredient in many perfumes and aftershaves - also cleaning products, air fresheners etc. I think as long as you air your home reasonably well you should be okay - the article also suggests certain houseplants absorb formaldehyde from the air.

It's just a candle
