  • Key Features
  • Wake up with Google

  • Get the best start to the day with the Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant. Wake up to the news, your favourite playlist, or your lamp gradually brightening - whatever you like really.

  • Need more rest? Simply tap the clock for a sneaky extra 10 minutes. Or just ask Google to turn it down.

  • You'll be all set for the day ahead with weather, calendar reminders, and traffic updates on the 4” touchscreen. Your phone will be fully charged thanks to the handy USB port (you can even set a reminder for that).

  • Everyday routines made easy

  • Coffee first thing? Along with your customised morning alarm, you can set your smart coffee machine brewing, turn up your heating, and get motivational quotes on the screen. Basically, whatever you need for a relaxing morning.

  • And when it's time for bed, a night-time routine can help you drift off. Turn off your smart lights, set your alarm, and play some relaxing music. All you need to say is “Hey Google, goodnight,” and get snuggled under the duvet.

  • You don't need to be a tech whizz to set up your routines either, the Google Home app makes things simple.

  • A smarter home

  • Google Assistant works with over 10,000 smart home devices, including lights, plugs, cameras, baby monitors, and thermostats. View the feed of your Nest camera to check if your pets are behaving. Or unlock the front door if your housemate's forgotten their keys again.

  • The Lenovo Smart Clock can be grouped with other Chromecast speakers, so you can keep listening to the news as you head to the kitchen. Or ask the Assistant to cast a Netflix show to your Chromecast TV for a lazy Sunday lie-in.

  • Privacy matters

  • Rest easy, the Lenovo Clock is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible. You can mute the mic, so it won't wake to your voice, plus there's no camera on-board for your peace of mind.

Unless your name is Google, you're probably fine.

Probably more of a problem for those using Amazon devices and whose name is Alexa.

Just got my Lenovo 8" Smart display through today, it's the first of my tech purchases the Mrs has approved of within minutes of it being set up!

Was half tempted by one of these as well, but I'm running out of places to put them!
So tempted... I don't need 2 though!!

How are you using it?

It's replaced the standard Google home in the kichen/dining room.

Mostly been for music, putting programmes on the TV, but now as a digital photo frame to display all the photos that get taken and never seen again as well.

Will be trying out using it for recipes instead of digging the books out, hence using in the kitchen.

"but I'm running out of places to put them!".

Don't worry about that mate!, feel free to PM/DM me just now (with the necessary 'details', etc etc), yeh?. ;-)

Because, as we speak, I'm thinking of at least 2 perfect places to place them both into (or whatever?), hehehehehehe.

Both our problem's solved ... :-D
Good Deal OP. :-)

I'm assuming the Android engine in these Lenovo Smart Device's won't get panned somewhere along the line? (as they've tended to do with some of their phone's, etc?), thanx.

FYI, there’s a microphone mute switch on the back of this, a lot of the functions can be easily operated from the touchscreen. Bought ours when the BTshop deal was on a couple of months ago, pretty nifty piece of kit...

I'm curious, hypothetically speaking mind (cough cough, lol), IF I had, say, said movie on from phone, from ...

Could I (in theory, etc), send it to thilese sorts of Lenovo device's, to then play that sort of film for me though? - as in literally (or whatever?), or ... thanx.

Amazon's Alexa does as she is told though...
Thanks OP, don't think I realised how much I needed and wanted one of these until I watched a review on it here.

Can't wait to get it!
Google, tell my wife it's sexy time😁
Are these USB powered? Just thinking about utilising my new sockets with 4 USB ports that I got from a deal on here!
Can you just say 'google' now or do you still have to say 'ok google'? Even better can you change the wake word to 'computer' like you can with Amazon?
Heat for the discount but still not willing to pull the trigger on these. May as well stick with one of my home minis to do everything this can do. For under a tenner I've found an alarm clock with a USB charge port. Or, I could stick to using my phone for the time and alarm. If the screen was properly useable it would be good but it feels like they hobbled it. I'm not a fan of Amazon's eco system but their latest smart display feels like s better option for the price, especially as you know they will get good discounts.
I've got one of these unless your gifting someone a speaker no clue why you would want two as I wouldn't want it as my main speaker say in a kitchen.
When they fall in price below 60 a pair I'll definitely get them

You can cast TVPlayer for a whole range of channels, but think you need a subscription (which you can normally get between 1 and 3 months trial of for free).

No probs!

Technically these things can cast pretty much anything you can cast anywhere else, so hopefully other content providers will support them in time.

Glad you've got that one sorted!
I’d rather get the 10” Lenovo. From the reviews on YouTube, the 8” appears to be limited to what it can do.
