Found a deal with 2 month free roadside assistance, appears cheaper than most anyway so seems a good deal all round.

Shortly after signing up I got a text offering me 25% off boiler cover if I called them and quoted my car breakdown reference number and registration.

Effectively free car breakdown for 2 month and 25% off boiler cover whether you keep the car breakdown or not!

Whilst most things free are good, I would avoid this company at all costs. Their warranty on boilers and other heating products isn't worth the paper it's written on. When you make a claim they charge you the excess (£75 - £150) to tell you that 'your boiler is beyond economical repair' and not covered.
I had this and called an engineer from the yellow pages who fixed it for a £35 part. I'm still trying to get my excess back from these thieves! oO

Reviews on them don't seem too bad, better than British Gas and the like. I took the cheaper option with the excess anyway so I don't mind paying that but will have a read through the terms in the meantime
Are you reading the reviews from their own website? Try reading them on moneysaving expert or similar. There seems to be a stark difference! (_;)
Seems more expensive than AutoAid, which I have been using for many years and I am entirely happy with them. No excesses
to pay with AutoAid. As Clarkey185 says, see MSE for more information; its £43 a year for the full service including home start and relay to home/garage, whereas 247home rescue are charging nearly £72 for their full service plus a £29 excess. I have not looked at 247's website to see how the high excesses quoted above are arrived at but if you paid by debit/credit card and it was under £100, make a chargeback claim; if over £100 claim under S75 - see MSE again for more details about such claims.
