So its a minimum of £158 for 2 nights.
A little misleading putting £79 per person in the title as there's a minimum of 2 needed to get the deal (no mention of needing 2 people in the title)
Maybe put this -
2-Night 2-Person All-Inc UK Hotel Breaks incl. Lunch, 3 course dinner with unlimited house wine and unlimited evening booze and unlimited tea and coffee - from only £158 (double/twin) via Travelzoo

Ok so I have amended the description, but it is still from £79 per person for two night.

That's great value in my book - lets consider that, for instance, breakfast is about £9 say, a 3 course dinner is probably going to cost £25 per head plus a bottle of wine at £15, lunch at about £8 - now the booze - a glass of wine will almost certainly be £4 for a large glass minimum, pints at £3.50, and for arguments sake Coffee and Tea at around £2 a pop.

On one night alone that would probably come in at around £75.00 just in refreshments and food alone! - then you've got the accomodation on top, plus the amenities too.

So effectively, over 2 nights this would cost at least £150 on food and drink let alone the room rates (and that's for a modest imbiber in my opinion).

Please tell me what part of all of that makes this a bad deal my friend? :whistling:

I didn't say it was a bad deal lol! In fact it seems very good!
Just read as if 1 person could get the deal from the title - I didn't find out otherwise until I read the T&C's

Actually I needed a room for 3 (including my 4yr old daughter) , but they don't cover that in the promo, hence I was reading the t&c's carefully.
That aside the hotels seem to have very good reviews ( the ones I looked at anyway), as does the food and drink.

Anyone know how strict these places are with checking age? Im 23 but look in my 30's and my girlfriend is 27 but the t&c's state over 25's??

We did this deal in February at the one in Clitheroe and would recommend it thoroughly.
The hotel was nice with large spacious pleasant rooms and a fitness centre. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room.
The food was very good and the free drinks were also good. We weren't expecting much for the price, but were pleasantly surprised.
We would definately do this again..as they also allow you to take small dogs.
All in all...a good deal.

I reckon thats in place to stop a group of young lads/girls going rather than a couple. Would check first but can't see them kicking up a fuss.

Nice to see "all inclusive" coming to this country, and at a decent price too.

Watered down alcohol and all.

Can you add toddlers?

Well this was to good not to book so thank you so much.
The reviews I read for the Northampton one that I booked looked good. You could easily spend alot more on food and drink in two days than it is costing for the all inclusive.

Im guessing no kids as it says all guests must be over 25
Was going away this weekend so thought it might be nice rather than a travelodge. Well Travelodge it is they take kids!!

If only I could give my toddler away for a night or two lol as this looks amazing

[COLOR="Magenta"]Over 25's only Great.

This seems like a good offer to me- thanks for pointing it out. I think it deserves its own thread!

I went last time that this deal came up in Feb: to the one in Northampton, Westone Manor.
Very nice place and good value for the money.
Only problems we encountered were its a bit misleading to see the lovely Manor house, then they dump you in a 1960's smelly annex!............really smelly and cold!
We asked to move and got a really nice original room in main building. I thought this was very sneaky to show nice pics then put you somewhere else.
Food was average & plentiful with a choice, drinks not watered down, not much around other than a small shopping mall about 5mins walk away.
Surrounded by........................other houses on the doorstep. I imagined a rambling country side, it was once I guess
We arrived at 1.45, but because we changed our rooms was told we were to late for lunch at 2.05pm. They gave in and we had our first day included lunch in the end.
The staff were all very helpful and pleasant.
Good deal but don't be put in the annex......................

Having lived in Northampton in the past, a couple of miles from that hotel, then I thought the photos were a little upbeat in terms of location, given it is indeed in the middle of 60s urban sprawl; although Weston Favell village itself, around the church, is nice. Is the pub at the shopping centre still grotty and called the 'swinging sporran'?

Having said that it's a good base for exploring the countryside and quaint villages round there, either out towards Bedford or Oxford.

At least Google Earth / Maps gives people a chance to see what the location is actually like before booking.

And now we've got Streetview over most of the UK, you can do an even better recce. before booking! I assume this is the less scenic part of the Westone Manor in Northampton, in the middle of bungalowland:-
