Visit Eindhoven from Manchester this summer, or maybe get the train to Tilburg only 37km away, availability is good, many weekends including 5th August and 12th August, I also spotted the £21.99 each way fairs for many dates in June and July also.

Flights are with Ryanair from Manchester midday Friday, flying home late afternoon Sunday each way is £21.99 (total 2 people return £87.96)

Then book two nights at the inntell hotel arts (pictures look superb) for £77.31 for a double room for two nights (book via ebookers using "HOLIDAYS" 15% code! enter code on the search page, it was £99 on Expedia and other companies

You must pay by debit card to get these rates, otherwise add a few quid on top, city tax works out another 15 euros payable on check in

Art Hotel Eindhoven
Inntel Hotels Art Eindhoven is uniquely situated in the vibrant centre of Eindhoven, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, art galleries and museums. The Central Station, PSV football stadium and Design District Strijp S are in close proximity of the hotel. This unique and artistically designed hotel is partly housed in the monumental Philips Light Tower. All 227 extremely spacious rooms and suites each have been individually decorated. Inntel Hotels Art Eindhoven offers three Meeting & Event function rooms, a restaurant with open kitchen, a cosy bar and free WiFi throughout the hotel.

From Philips factory to brilliant Art Hotel A large number of the unique rooms and suites are located in the monumental Philips factory, built in 1909, where in the past the first light bulbs were made and tested. A dynamic team of architects and designers have managed to maintain the specific elements of the Light Tower, and to transform the building into an Art Hotel. The fabulous 4 metres high ceilings in Loft rooms typify the industrial character of the hotel. In this hotel art, history and science meet.
