Looks really nice if you're looking to get away for a couple of night with the other half. Works out £24.75 per person per night, which I think is really reasonable. The Hotel is 'The Royal Oak' Which is in Kelsall, Cheshire. The reviews look decent as well, which is obviously super important.

Fri & Sat ar £15 more per night, but still quite reasonable overall, really.

Kelsall is lovely, close to me and a beautiful part of the country Ideal if you are wanting to walk the Sandstone trail too or nearby Bickerton and Peckforton. Chester isn't far away and Tarporley is lovely too.

Other places worth a visit close by:

Anderton Boat Lift (Northwich)
Lion Salt Works (Northwich)
Crocky Trail (good if you have kids)
Go Ape at Delamere Forest
Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet - Ellesmere Port (good shopping)

And lots of castles too:

Chumley
Beeston (candle factory nearby)
Peckforton

and mount pleasant gardens
And glebe green winsford
Some great views in wharton gardens. Lovely day out. It's paradise, last year it was a toss between a week in the Seychelles or a picnic on the river weaver.
Amazibg views of the salt mines
I use to work in Winsford. They have a nice fish and chip shop on the High St that does nice home made pies..... I've forgotten the name of it.
