Absolutely love Italy, although I have never done Milan before. This is based on 2 people so at £89pp so will work out £44.50pppn for this. Which for a 4 star hotel and flights isn't to shabby at all. It doesn't include food, but there should be plenty around. We've always hunted out little family run restaurants for main meals, to cut costs from the ones that tend to hit you harder in the prime locations. We've come across some amazing places doing this.

Hand luggage is included here, although not hold luggage. If you're anything like me that wouldn't be a problem for a couple of days away.

When we stayed in Rome we were a fair few miles out from the main city and it took us about 10 mins to get central. We preferred being out of the city as it was much less busy and hotels were a lot cheaper. Each to their own though, of course!

I have no problem staying on the outskirts of town for a city break. I've done it myself a few times.

I would want it to be in a better hotel than this though and it's far from ideal when you only have one day in Milan.

I feel like a broken record on these deals but I'll keep saying it, they're a bad idea. Late arrival flight and early departure means you can't do anything on the 1st and 3rd days. The hotels they include are always poorly located and average at best.

If you want to do a city break book your flights and hotel separately. It may cost a bit more but it will be worth it if you want to actually enjoy the break.

Still a good price but the price shown is per person, not for 2 people, you need to purchase a minimum of 2 vouchers.

booking seperately is cheaper

Depart Friday 16th Nov and return Sunday 18th Nov
RyanAir flights total £62
Hotel from £111.29 directly on IH Hotel's website - so total of £173.29 saving £5

however, voting hot as this voucher provides ATOL protection and 14 day cancellation !

looks lovely so thanks OP. I've oonly been to rome before (locals are horrible and all the tourist areas are heaving with people there but the food is nice). Hopefully people are nicer in Milan
One day in Milan staying in a below average hotel on the outskirts of the city for 90 quid each? Cold.

We found Rome really good, but yeah it gets pretty wild with tourists. We ventured into places that were super quiet. There's loads of hidden churches that are absolutely stunning on the inside, although from the outside you'd never know. You can just walk in and take a seat. I'd say 99% of tourists wouldn't have been in or even known about them.

We did do the usual big places too though and found a little museum called Crypt Capuchin, which was really interesting. That said it's full of skeletons and I mean FULL. So if that's not your thing, then maybe avoid it. We thought it was amazing. Milan is on our list too, so I guess we will see what we can find there by being nosey

Milan. Nice place but you need more than a day there.

Make sure you make your way back to the right airport after your stay. I ended up at the wrong one and had a mad taxi ride to get to the other before the gate closed. Cost me £150 but just made it in time.
I always book direct with the actual company, via credit card and never via an agent. Section 75 protection!
Great deal. Shame its with ryan air, flights will probably get cancelled .
Milan is amazing but you deffo need a few days. We stayed just outside the city towards one of the lakes but would certainly go back. People were lovely too
