This looks like an excellent last minute trip abroad idea Bruges is a picturesque city and is well worth visiting!

1) Select Mini Cruise instead of ferry from the link.

2) Select your date of departure (Sunday - Wednesday departures are typically £59 p/p, Thursday £65 p/p, Friday £103 p/p & Saturday £69 p/p). All dates are included until the 30th April except the 18th.

About the minicruise

Leaving Hull in the evening, you'll sail across the North Sea to Bruges, Belgium. Arriving early in the morning, fresh from your sleep in your inside cabin, you'll then board the coach to the city (included). While away the hours by soaking up the culture, shopping, or simply taste testing the different European cuisine.

You will then be taken back to the ship, where you'll cruise back to Hull. The ferry is chock-full of things to do with a selection of restaurants, bars and live entertainment, plus some ships have an onboard casino, children's play area and/or cinema.

Onboard, you will sleep in a comfy 2-berth cabin with your own en-suite bathroom.

I went on one of these - appeared to be a kind of booze cruise full of rowdy people. Highlight of my cruise was ending up alone in a lift with a bunch of very drunk Northern "Ladies" - an experience I'll never forget ......

Was a good laugh though although the other members of our party weren't that impressed.
Always wanted to do this with my 9yr old son. But too many pi ss heads on board
This isn’t a cruise! It’s on a ferry

To be fair, the one we went on was quite a large cruise ship (we went from Southampton on the Ventura)

Parking is charged at £7 per 24 hour period or part thereof.
So you need 2 days parking for £14.
You get about 8 hours in Bruges. Not bad value if you want to spend a day in Bruges.
Bruges, is booooooring. I won a trip there on the way back fron the dam, wish id lost the comp.
Gosh...no boring 'The only problem is the start and finish point' gags. HUKD is going soft!
