I really hope that the standards of this hotel have improved since it was taken over. I remember being there many years ago and it was terrible. Filthy and the service was really bad. I'd have rather booked into Faulty Towers than this place.
I'm lovin' it!
The more adventurous should hike in from Braemar through the Lairig Grhu to Aviemore
too much for the economic climate but good found
You can't get a full English breakfast in a MacDonald hotel - they only do a Scottish grill.
been to the Macdonald Forest Hills Hotel & Resort, Aberfoyle,
will not be back at any of that chain again paid extra for the exec room and wasnt impressed at all with the room, the staff were rude, drinks were really over priced sure it was £5 for a coffee, meal in the main resturant was good but other than that i wouldnt waste my money with the Mcdonald Clan hotels,
i could have stayed in Edinburgh in a top hotel with all mod cons for the same money,
