This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Cheap price if you are looking for a short city break The flights are with Ryanair with only a small piece of hand luggage being included in the price. You have the option to add hold luggage when booking the flight, but as it is such a short trip, this probably won't be necessary for many. Example date of trip 2nd - 4th March. Many other date combinations are possible too.

Flights - lots of date availability in late February & March - £10p/p

Accommodation - Gdanskie Apartamenty - Old Town Rooms . Centrally located and well reviewed. Please note this option has a shared bathroom; there is plenty of other accommodation available where you can have your own private bathroom for marginally more money. £17p/p.

Only 2 nights though, minimum stay is 5nights for me.

5 nights in Gdańsk?! What are you doing, counting the cobbles?
Great deal. First thoughts were of shipyards and Lech Walesa but I was surprised by just how nice Gdansk is. Nice trip by train to Sopot worth doing.
Gdansk is a great city with a lot of history, also worth visiting the museum of WWII and WesterPlatte, uber very cheap to get around (airport to old town about £5 for a 45min journey)

Ach, Danzig Danzig, erinnere dich an die Tage, als wir frei und deutsch …Ach, Danzig Danzig, erinnere dich an die Tage, als wir frei und deutsch waren...

Danzig was meant to be sovereign, not German, before the German's forcibly took control and imposed their Nazi rule on them - conscripting their boys and men and forcing their teachings on children in school. As the war ended, they sent out the chain dogs to chase out Danziger, threatening to kill those that stayed behind (presumably to scare aware witnesses). It was the German rule that caused this beautiful city to be flattened. As an 'Ost-Preußer' myself I find your comment very ill conceived and naive. Yes there were good days, but they weren't under German rule.

Gdansk is quite nice but not as great as Krakow.

I wouldn't go for longer than one night unless the weather is nice and you plan on going to Sopot as there isn't much to do.

The WW2 Museum is worth a visit and so is the famous crane.

Gdansk is a wonderful city with loads to see and do. The town hall is lovely, as is the amber museum, the dockyards, food is cheap, people are lovely. Highly recommended.

The most expensive breakfast is the buffet at 35zl. That's less than £7.

I much prefer Gdansk to Krakow. Lots of other nice towns and cities in Poland too and there tends to be an airport pretty nearby to them too. Fir example - Wroclaw, Torun, Zamosc and Lublin (can visit Majdanek from here) for example though some are much smaller towns.

Think others have now said it for me. Though would add a train trip out to one of the largest castles in Europe, a walk along the Riverside. A visit to the concentration camp. I enjoy walking, best way to see most things, I'm sure they have a guided walking tour, which would make it that much more interesting.
I lived there for 7 years. Great city. WWII Museum is one of the best I've ever visited. Publix transportation is very good and very cheap. You can catch a suburban train from airport to the city centre for something about 75p (3,80PLN if I remember). And it takes about 25minutes. If you have any questions - I'm happy to help
Absolutely love it here! its so pretty and the people are so nice... very cheap too!
Gdansks beautiful 👌
Nice city, one of my favourites. Brilliant price

The Polish breakfast is £4.30, hows that expensive lol
We stayed 2 nights and thought it was probably enough as its a small city .
Some nice craft ale places And some quirky bars . Food was cheap as were taxi fares on uber . Typical of all cities be wary of taxi on street , we used uber both ways airport . Uber was £6 .. Local guy wanted almost £18 to go to airport ... Why do taxi drivers the world over feel the need to rip you off , or try .
WW 2 museum is incredible , set aside a few hours it's huge ... thought provoking and emotional experience .
Pulapka is a nice craft ale place and the red light bar was fun for an evening .. Great people .
the train to the airport will cost more
jimjim7920/02/2020 11:49

There is a ticket called "bilet miejski" which means literally "city ticket" and it is a single ticket for 3,80PLN that allows you to travel from city centre to Sopot or to the airport. If you ask a cashier "ticket to airport please" - than Yes, it will cost more.
On the image: "Gdańsk Główny" is the Main Station.
"Gdańsk Port Lotniczy" is the airport.
Sometimes it goes only to the "Gdańsk Wrzeszcz" station but with this ticket you are allowed to take the very next train (SKM - the yellow/Blue one) from there to Main Station.

Because it's Poland? Compare avg wages then you'll understand.

And it's obviously a really nice restaurant. Really nice restaurants in the UK are expensive compared to average UK wages. Think about that and you'll understand
I strongly recommend to visit Sopot via train from Gdansk & There's the best Ribs I've had in my life at a Jack Daniels type of Chain called Whiskey on the Rocks. Incredible cocktails and atmosphere etc.
The RAT president of Ryanair Mr O'Leary told the Independent last year passengers would not get a refund if they refused to fly on a Ryanair 737 Max.

you if if you wanna die along painful death please fly Ryanair thank you for your dreadful customer service in other words I don’t give a fc##. Regards Mr LEary
