This deal is based on 2 adults flying out of Stansted on Monday 19th February returning Wednesday 21st February. I’ve closed the 4* Ivbergs Hotel Premium.

The excellent flight times means you get 3 days to explore this beautiful city. There are plenty of cheap flights to Berlin between January-March however the weekends are a lot more expensive. Other airports such as East Midlands, Glasgow, Liverpool, Belfast and Manchester all have flights for under £50.

The 4* Ivbergs Hotel Premium is located close to Tiergarten and is close to some metro stations so it is easy for you to get around the city. The hotel has 4/5 stars on TripAdvisor with plenty of excellent reviews.
There will usually be a few €€€ to pay upon arrival for city tax.

Price breakdown

Flights booked through Ryanair - £51.96

Hotel booked through Zamora.com - £86

Total price - £137.96

Total price each - £68.98

Great city, a lot of the sites etc are free too. The Reichstag is recommended, as is the 🍺
We went in 2016 .Lots to do .Book visit to Reichstag before you go to avoid queuing and its free to go in.Lovely beer but expensive.
Bargain. Heat added.

Yes
Can’t find the price/hotel mentioned from that link
Absolutely massive city with more retail than anyone would know what to do with, it puts UK cities to shame in that regard. The rail system is amazingly efficient (and nobody seems to pay) and every inch of the sprawling city is well connected. It's really a fantastic place so to me this is a bargain and a no-brainer.

Access to the inside of the building is paid and only the grounds outside are free to walk around.
Berlin is becoming like Milan and pisa, have lots of beggars and street scammers
3 days is nowhere near long enough, city is massive! I'd recommend a minimum of 4 full days myself.

"Excellent flight times" 7:50am outward flight would mean you need to be at the airport for 5:50am, so could be a very early start depending on how far away you live from Stansted.

Great deal overall though, seems good value for money.

It was free to go inside the dome and walk around the rooftop terrace and see some good views over the city,
Went on a similar deal with Travelzoo just before Christmas. Stayed at the Ivbergs Hotel and was pleased with it. Clean, warm and comfortable. No tea-making facilities in room. Paid up front for breakfast, which was good value. I think it is €12 if not pre booked.
Overall, Berlin was one of the best city breaks we have ever done. Loads to see and do. Be sure to buy a Berlin Welcome pass from the kiosk in the airport (or online) which is about £25 for three days unlimited travel.

Really? Was there in December and didn't see a single one. As with anywhere abroad, staying vigilant won't do you any harm. Berlin is a lovely city.
Don't be put off by the Airport's distance from the city center, a single fare from Schönefeld (zones ABC) on the S/U bahn is under 4€.

Yes. Nice hotel. If I'm honest I wouldn't say it's 4 star but it's pretty clean and a short walk from the u bahn

Excellent spot. There is also Artemis in Berlin to visit. Artemis is a must visit but I must warn you tho, it’s not for the faint hearted!
This is a great booking, if you accept and understand how cold it's going to be in Berlin in Feb! If I could get the days off work, I would do this, as it's an amazing place.

But to reiterate, the cold is MENTAL, and because of the Eastern European city planning, there is hardly and let up from it apart from going indoors. It'd make a Geordie put on a coat.
Great deal but be careful if you use Amoma, their business model seems to be to advertise a low price and then try to source room afterwards. If you do use them check with hotel that they do actually have your booking

This!!! I went last feb and by the 3rd day although we were loving it we were ready to come back as it was so cold!!

I'm actually off back there for 4 days beginning of march for near enough the same price. So the cold didnt put me off that much!
Watch your wallet at the train station and bus stations - immigrant crime is horrendous now in many German cities!
Ask your hotel staff where is safe at night as there are many no go zones now!

I agree, but it's also a nice city to visit again and it's not far away. I'm going for my third visit in May to watch the Berlin Formula E race at Tempelhof. Already have a list of things to visit

Agree with the others about booking entry to the Reichstag, I'd make it the first place you go as the dome tour gives you a good overview of the city. Impressive building and a lot of history.

If you're not checking bags in, most airlines only need you to be there 45 minutes before the flight

Seems like an excellent flight time to me. Why would you want a later flight time meaning you don't get the full 3 days? I'd hardly expect a nice lay-in on the day I was going on a short city break.
Brilliant deal!!! Bear in mind that the hotel wifi is €4.95 per day if you can’t use your mobile data abroad!

Sure, but there's getting up early, and there's getting up at 400-430am which I'd have to in order to make this flight. I take your point though, and I guess if it's OK only getting to the airport an hour before the flight leaves then it wouldn't be so bad.

The public transport in Berlin as in many German cities is based on an honours system. There are regular checks by non uniformed inspectors and if you are found without a valid ticket there is a €60 fine.
I agree with you the rail system is marvellous and enables you to get around this amazing city so efficiently. I've been to Berlin four times now and will still return as there is so much to see and do.
I also find Berlin one of the cheaper German cities.
If it's based on 2 people but wanted to go on my own could i just book 2 tickets in my name?
