This deal is based on 4 adults flying out to Hamburg from Manchester on Sunday 30th April returning Tuesday 2nd May.

Amazing price for a getaway with a few friends, Hamburg has good nightlife and is a beautiful city.

You will be staying for 2 nights in the 3* Meininger Hotel Hamburg which is located next to the main train station. It has good reviews on TripAdvisor with it averaging 4/5 stars. This price is based on 4 adults sharing one room.

The hotel has a €250 deposit which is mandatory for group but as long as you don't trash the room you will get this back!

Many cities now have city tax which you will have to pay upon departure.

This deal only includes hand luggage however with Ryanair this is a 10kg trolley case and a handbag which will be sufficient for this trip.

Price breakdown

Flights booked with Ryanair - £71.92

Hotel booked through Hotels.com with voucher code AFVCUK10417 for 10% off - £154.69

Total price for 4 people - £226.61

Total price each - £56.66

Watch out for gangs of rampaging, robbing economic migrants

Watch out for racist right-wing propaganda from ignorant disrespectful people, who forget how many fine British men died fighting against the nazism they now spout.

Troll. If you haven't got anything sensible to say, keep your racist nonsense to yourself.

Back to the thread, Hamburg is a great city.

Great deal

That city tax is a real kick in the teeth though, considering you've already paid inflated tourist prices for everything during your stay

Nice little deal that. We were going to go for the xmas markets but Ryanair changed the flights by massive amounts so had to pay cancellation fees for the hotel etc.
Wouldn't mind a deal for 2...

Hamburg is pretty nice. You can do a nice boat trip round the lake. Two nights is plenty.

4 adults sharing 1 room oO .... think I'll pass.

Even if it's not your normal thing, Miniatur Wunderland is well worth checking out.

I have been to Hamburg recently with Ryanair from Stansted.

Cheap flights and stayed in Budget Ibis very central close to Reeperbahn

Great fun!!!

Yep. This well worth 13-14 euros. Gets busy
A few adult bits in the various model sites if you look closely!

I would recommend staying in a backpackers in St Pauli instead (like £10-15/night). Instant sleep hostel is very good, great atmosphere and opposite an Aldi. Altona/St Pauli has a lot of culture/night life and includes the reeperbahn/red light district and st pauli football ground amongst other things. Also like Amsterdam, weed is extremely easy to get a hold off. The city is small enough that you can practically walk anywhere. One of my favourite cities, with some similarities of amsterdam but less touristy. Perfect for a lads getaway.

Worth it just for this

Went here for New Years and stayed in this hotel too! Was a great stay, although the miniatur wunderland was a bit of a let down.

Wat are you talking bout I dunno what your saying hear.....

1. seems to think Germany is hunkydory, its awesome its far from that. 2.other seems to think you don't need to let anymore immigrants in (war, economic or otherwise). does a country really need lots of immigration?, yes maybe a tens of thousands or more, but over a million, really?

If people want to go to Germany by all means, it used to be a great country. A friend of mine went over there a few years ago tand said the booze was too good, which made me curious to go over at some point, now not so much.
