We have been scouring the January sales and we've found a bargain-priced, 2-night Paris city break on lastminute.com for just £87 per person, including Eurostar travel. You'd normally pay more than this for a 1-night stay.

Departing St Pancras on 11 and 18 January and 5 February, you'll spend two nights at the 3-star Best Western le Saint Maurice. The hotel is located on the outskirts of Paris, but is near to two Metro stations providing easy access to the city centre.

Hot - the train fare would cost nearly that.

Quite a deal - thanks! £174.50 for two people, two nights.

Always buy Paris Visite Metro tickets for zone 1/2/3 for 1 3 or 5 days as it includes Metro, RER trains and buses, discount on one of the Seine boat trips which you get your own commentary handset with selectable language.

Seems like a great deal, Just wouldn't go anywhere that has the Euro as it's currency at the mo, actually saying that I think the pound is the sh1t on the shoe of currencies at the moment.
