LOL Daily Star. Does it contain any words to go with the pictures?

Finally, a reason to buy the newspaper.

Good deal but quick expiry. Thanks for the heads up.

Cost of paper £1. the 10p on front page is saying its 10p cheaper than sun

This

I think I'd prefer to spend £12 at Poundland than have the embarrassment of buying the Star!

how i hate snobby people, who think they're better than others!! - about you're embarressed to buy the star .. behave and grow up

Never understood the whole "I won't buy this or that paper" stance, seems pretty dumb to me.

Thanks op!

Jesus Christ....some sense of humour failure going on here! oO

So spend £11 to get £12 of poundshop stuff...

So I'm saving £1, ahaha. What a joke OP

Can't believe how much heat this has got! After you've spent £1 on the paper youre only getting £1 off in poundland. And most of the stuff in poundland is overpriced anyway! You think its a bargain cos it's a quid.....until you go round the corner and realize you can buy it for 80p in Asda!! Cold from me!

So. you spend £1 on a paper.
you spend £12 in poundland.
Thats £13 spent.
you then save £2 and take it to £11.
this is totally barmy and pointless for a £1 save.
Its poundland. im not being a snob but clenching for £1 saving is really more effort than its worth. especially if your nearest shop selling the paper is not nearby.

costs more in buying your bus ticket or petrol ... we dont have one near us , so i would need to pay £5.30 train ticket.

think the op is referring to those who choose to use the voucher while passing by shops and doesn't say it's that good an offer that you'd make a special trip out especially for poundland. you could comment that for all the shops not near you. aren't poundland online? then you could complain about delivery charges. don't think it's really worth a moan. the deal may only suit certain people who firstly shop there and secondly buy lots of items there to get one item free. the £2 off a while back had restrictions (according to staff I was served by) of only use one voucher per day.

what u aiming this at me for? everyone is having a laugh at the special offer! and what you mentioning delivery charges for .. didnt know poundland did delivery to your front door! what u getting so mad about,? u should comment to the person who did original post, as its a silly offer they found ..

one of my neigbours reads the star on sunday and often leaves his copy in the communal bin on monday mornings from where i retrieve it for personal perusal.

sure enough, he left it again yesterday - with the poundland copy intact.

i must be the luckiest person alive
