This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

At the bottom of the McColls webpage there is a sign up link for the newsletter. They then send you a voucher through email to either show instore on your phone or print out. Mine was sent to my junk emails so check there after signing up. They are quite pricey for basics but might be good to use for any deals they have on. Gives £2 off an £8 spend.

Mccolls are great for RTC stuff sell off the fruit and veg for pennies.
That exclusions list is the majority of what they sell. To be fair, most on the list have 5% or less margin. Actually surprised newspapers and mags are not in the list with less than 20% margin when you factor in delivery charges. Explains why most newsagents are closing down.
My local won't take bill payments as most commissions are caped around 10p so with their bank charges, it actually costs them to process payments.
Even Home Bargains now sell newspapers and magazines.
