All gone now! 1 sold 1 left! Was just buying some £3.80 Drumstick sweets, from the Amazon thread on hukd and these caught my eye! Currently selling for £4999.99 Curry's! Considering the i9 cpu is £1100 on its own to buy, seems these are a real warehouse bargain!

Very, very tempted to get one, just as its an all in one, 10 Core 20 thread processing animal with the Intel i9 Powerhouse with DUAL 11gb 1080Ti GTX cards, with amazing speed all round, so teetering on if to grab one or not

There are only 2 at the warehouse price of £2653, both in very good condition, with the extra 20% off the amazon warehouse price!!

Correct Acer model number is: DG.E0JEK.017

3214335.jpg
Here are all the specs via the Acer website, the ones at amazon have 17 at the end of the model number

I just bought a van for only £150 more, wish i'd bought this now and took my tools to work on the bus.
Guess the components would've been swapped out and the warehouse mugs wouldn't have a clue.

Will it play space invaders?
Very good deal 🤝 What's the cooling like?

For that price, I want a 'meet & greet' with all of the Space Invaders and autographs & selfies with them

Looks to be an 240mm AIO on the CPU. Feels like it would need some attention for whoever invested in one.

Hope so.. but could be a bit slow with 8-bit quality emulators like that!!

After a bit of background digging about and asking a few in the know, the whole caboodle seems to be spot on to run icy!

The Cooler Master CPU Liquid Cooler Setup
With the extreme processor the Orion has under the hood, coupling it with an AIO (All-in-One) Cooler Master® CPU Liquid Cooler* is the perfect fit. Heat never stood a chance.

Ice Tunnel 2 Thermal Zones
This airflow management technology utilizes case design by separating the thermal zones in order to maximize cooling where most needed. There are four thermal zones. The PSU zone is self-contained while the GPU, CPU and storage zones split the cool intake air through both sides of the case.

Makes me wonder why anyone would pay £7k for the same thing.. let alone £4999.99 at Curry's and they sell them!!
Not bad but you’re much better off with a 9900k + RTX 2080TI build for a similar price.
Good enough for fortnite?

I will let you know Tuesday, when it comes, if there is much space left in the PC case for any tools, might be enough room to park your van in it, the size of the box it comes in!!

Sorry couldn't resist the price anymore, ONE LEFT!!

Each of the tag ID serials, for each component will be on the build docket with Acer serials, the extended warranty for the 3 years will also show if it has been registered and / or returned for X reasons, last time I got a warehouse PC, it was as new, not registered and just had the batteries missing out of the wireless mouse & keyboard.. which I was a bit gutted about.. but stomached the £2.25 for new ones!!!
Good price as it'd cost around £3K in comparative parts alone.

But SLI = Pointless

That is what I thought, so priced it out at £3964 for roughly same bits (give or take!) but mine comes built, 3 years warranty and some other Acer junk in the trunk, I don't need, but its free!

Not bothered about the SLi setup, as will be using it for for post-processing as singular GPU tasks

got to be silly to buy this lets be honest, the 7900x is pretty slow and the 1080 ti are worth about 450each

I will say it does look cool though, but it is a warehouse item so probably has no CPU in it and graphics cards replaced with some gtx 260s haha

I once bought a titan x maswell evga from warehouse and someone had swapped it out for a titan black.. I was livid
All gone now.

not sure who's got that kind of money laying around ready to spend it in a quick fashion for old used tech.. aw well!
SLI scaling is really game dependent, some games you may get 75% more performance and some will give you 0%. I'd sell them and get a 2080ti.
If anyone spend this much on this PC they need their head testing I had a look out of interest and the specs are lovely but its 5K now. This is not a hot UK deal and for people with no sense what money is worth

What are you talking about, a rubbish non branded non blue chip version of a "gaming pc" built by a "specialist" pc gaming company with no warranty is still £4500+ with these spec is still more OR to buy the parts, is still £4000+ again, that would have to be cobbled together by someone with a bit of savvy... so WHY would anyone need their head testing if they spent £2653 on a £5000 PC??

Or are you comparing this, to say someone that might buy a £500 brand new iPhone Max XS for £1200!!!

If it is back up to the normal, selling price of £4975 via amazon new, then obviously someone has nabbed the other one for £2k off!

Before expiring it, I will just leave it a while longer live, to see if whomever got the other one, is on hukd and pipes up and / or decides to put it back and not pay for it, so its available again!

I bought my first new PC over 25 years ago for £1200. I think it had 1mb of RAM. I could play quake and doom on it. It was nothing special.
Adjusted for inflation it’s around £2300.

You lot don’t know how cheap things are now

On that basis, in a similar scenario, but a decade before yours was purchased and adjusting it for inflation, mine would cost £14,400 odd!

So glad that someone else gets that this website is not just about £2 chocolate oranges for 50p.. its about saving a wad over what everyone else is paying for the same things today! Cheers BB

Quake isnt that old. 21 years at a push.
1200 * inflation is not 2300. I think 1500 doing the math. Still more fool you.

1996. I did keep the PC for a while.
You see, unlike you, I went to the Bank of England website and calculated inflation.
I would suggest you do a simple search before writing such garbage.

everyone had to pay that much 25 years ago, Everything was more expensive.

guys i may be missing something ( it is Saturday nite after all) but i just don't get it.... a very quick shop around found these prices but as stated this chip is 2yr old now and has a decent replacement £50 cheaper??

1080ti £511 amazon
cpu £900(ebuyer) ( i99820@865 amazon )
32GB £150 (2666 max) anywhere
MB £210 amazon
ssd intel 660p £67.50 ccl (gonna assume that's the one given the potential age of this...)
hdd £50 ccl
case +cooler £200 anywhere

now that's as 2600 so in the ball park for new prices admittedly you would have to get someone to build it but still this is in no way worth £5000

These have 2 x 1080ti cards and they are the Asu 11gb Black OC edition ones, around 700 each at the mo just for starters!

The basis of the deal was not that they were £5000 in this thread, but are for sale and selling for £4800-£5000 new, but at £3300 less the 20%, they were a steal at £2650 from amazon!

I did price the almost exact parts in one and also rang 4 "experts" who only build gaming / video editing pc's, they could not get anywhere near the £2600 mark!

Just would love to know, who got the other one!
5 Grand for a pc - I must be getting old!

in my total i was including 2 of the 1080Ti cards, not saying it's a bad deal but it is possible to get newer tech at roughly same price..
