I have so many USB C cables now it's not funny anymore, ordered another couple of packs just in case.

Thanks Gooner

Decent cables bought the 3 pack a while back.
I've really struggled to find a very short usb c cable e.g. 10-30cm, just need it for connecting phone to android auto in the car.

These are not even usb c to usb c . I have several Thunderbolt 3 certified usb c to usb c cables rated for 40Gbps speed with Thunderbolt 3 and 100 watts usb c power delivery. Voted hot for price but otherwise not buying as do not support power delivery. May work for Quick Charge 3.0 . Genuine Usb c to usb c cables have e marker chip inside .

I had the same problem so I bought these and they work for Android Auto in my Fiesta. They're 0.3m long and angled. Perfect cable for the job.

Voted hot, 56 k ohms resistor in the cable, so safe to use. I have already a Tecknet cable, used since over a year ago, never had a problem and it does work with fast charge. Well, depends what you call fast charge, built at least 4 times faster than the usual Poundstretcher cables.

56k with some weird symbol apparently.

Yes, 56 k ohms one, can't see it anywhere. As far as I am aware, most Tecknet have this. The resistor is quite an essential part for fast charge.

Update: Never mind, I found it, voted hot!

This was probably in stock when I saw it, clicked on it and then found it to have been removed for moderation. What's the point of even showing it on the front page, moderate it before it even shows on the front page!

39541277.jpgSee above. USB C is fast charge. There is a risk to fry your phone or set things on fire if the cable does not have the resistor. Usually the cheap cables, especially the ones from China do not have the resistor.
If you use a cable without a resistor and with an old charger, you are fine, but you do not get fast charge. If you use it with a fast charger, there is a risk. People do not realise this, as these things do not happen on regular basis. It is like using a cheap, not certified charger/plug from China. It works, but things may happen.
I personally do not buy cables without the resistor. I have some I take with me in holidays, but I carry with me the old charger.

I'm no expert, does this work with 66 W charging? I'm on 50W right now but upgrading soon
