Slightly confusing title, maybe write 37.75 per bulb
Roughly the same price for e14's n8ce price
I paid 84.99 for this yesterday in Argos.
I ordered Xiaomi colour bulbs from China (Gearbest) for £16 each, they work perfectly with Alexa. No hub required either
Good deal - voted hot. Shouldn't be cold though!
It's the 'premium product, vote cold' brigade again it seems.

II'm afraid I don't know what the difference is, only that they're working. Can you explain please? I'm genuinely interested to know why the Philips hue are better

Good luck running a house full of them over Wifi.Shame people are voting …Good luck running a house full of them over Wifi.Shame people are voting this cold, Phillips just announced at CEX that they are launching a new HUE app for PC which will allow your bulbs to sync with games and movies, kind of like Ambilight

Why do I need good luck? I don't know what the issues are, can you explain please? I'm new to smart bulbs so I've no clue really. Tia

You can already do this with ScreenBloom. Works great with games etc.

OK, well id suggest googling but Hue Bulbs and similar use the Zigbee …OK, well id suggest googling but Hue Bulbs and similar use the Zigbee protocol, which is basically a specially developed communications protocol for smart devices, it means you can run 50+ devices with ease.Using something that runs on WiFi, is just going to eat the bandwidth available to it start adding more devices and you reliability and connection is going to struggle to keep up.On top of this, Hue bulbs are brighter and have a better range of colours than something like Wifi bulbs, there are alternatives to Hue that are genuine and run on z-wave but i find the hue system has better compatibility with other devices and also with Alexa or Siri to be fair thought hte colours are a bit gimmickyMy Setup is as follows Living Room Lamps - Hue Ambience Living Room Lights - Hue AmbienceHue DimmerGames Room Lamps & Lights - Hue ColoursHue Dimmeralso a Bat signal connected to a smart plug Hall & Porch - Hue Whites + Motion SensorsLanding - Hue Whites + Motion Sensor + 1 Colour for nightlight3 x Bedrooms Lights - Hue Whites 5 x Bedroom Lamps - Hue Ambience Hue DimmersKids main lights are on 20 minute shutoff timers Kitchen - I've just bought the IKEA Tradfri GU10's, and I intend to put Hue Strips under the counters at some point. Also put a motion sensor in the KitchenI have a Hive Thermostat and I have the kids rooms lamps connected to smart plugs so I can make sure that 30 mins after bedtime things are turned off and cant be turned back on until 6.30amOver Christmas i had the lights on smart plugs with timers set Pretty much the main living areas are all on sunset timers Everything runs from the Main Hue Hub or From Hive Hub, also Alexa Echo in the living room, and Show in the kitchen, with dots in each of the bedrooms and games roomNest on the list is a Ring Doorbell and I am investigating setting up security cameras..So imagine all of that running over Wifi along with everything that isn't on ethernet like Computers, Laptops, Phones, Tablets, Consoles etc..

Aha, ok, thanks for the knowledge. Wow what a great set up you have. I won't ask how much you've spent on that lot! I've only got 4 wifi bulbs, one tplink plug and 2 echo's 2nd generation. I've also got a hue hub with just one light connected to it so my wifi atm is ok but I now understand how all these extras could slow down my internet etc. Thanks again, gotta wait til payday to get more hue bulbs, hoping they'll get even cheaper...

The main complaint with Yeelight is that they aren't bright enough. Obviously it depends on their usage.

I got the E27's and it's really bright although I tend to use it for pink/purple dimmed lighting in my bedroom and it's great. No complaints
Lately I’m having a nightmare with Google Home controlling Hue & Hive. Saying it’s not setup, turning off the wrong lights etc. Then all of a sudden it works again.
Why is this cold?
