Please don't buy allthis unneccessary plastic when a recycled cardboard …Please don't buy allthis unneccessary plastic when a recycled cardboard Amazon box is just as good.

its not though is it. cardboard boxes don't tend to work very well in places like garages where there is moisture about. at least these are pretty solid and should last a hell of a long time unlike the cheap crappy versions

That's just personal opinion

Cardboard boxes under the bed no use in this house, with cats that love to play with them, chew them etc. Plus if a cats sick on a plastic version, the stuff inside will definitely still be okay, and the box too! Can just be wiped
I suppose its just that growing up in the fifties we had tin storage boxes, or wooden boxes under the bed, and the milk came in glass. Meat and fish were wrapped in paper. We had cats too but I can't remember any of them being sick all over our storage haha

I’m majorly eco friendly, but I own my own buisness and have to store certain items in these or the moisture wrecks them. I get that buying them to use briefly is awful but I’ve been using my two for 6+ years and need two more due to expanding stock. Everything has its place. Replacing airtight duty containers with an amazon box does not work for many people. Also if storing in a garage these will be needed. Cardboard boxes aren’t moisture resistant. The main plastic issue arises with food packaging and carbon usage.

That won't be really useful ones, it'll be Tesco own brand.
Don't confuse these with their standard range with thicker plastics & supported sides & bases. These have the thin honeycomb bases so with have thinner plastic all round but still better than the cheaper supermarket ones. These are not airtight just like their standard ones.

I see where you are coming from but you need to focus on the big issue of single use plastics when making these types of comments. This item will be around storing stuff for decades maybe. I have a bunch of really useful boxes in the loft storing a load of stuff before it gets car booted or freecycled.
