Why You Need Earplugs in Concerts and Festivals?
A recent study by the World Health Organization shown over a billion young people are at risk of noise-induced hearing damage. Noise-induced hearing losses are common in our lives. For example, you feel a buzz or ring in your ears after going to a festival or concert. The hearing damage is irreversible, but also preventable. Therefore, we recommend you wear Mpow SNR 28dB high fidelity earplugs.

Are these any good for sleepless nights with a snorer ?

Not sure if they would fit properly in their nostrils to stop them snoring.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't these for listening to music etc at gigs without wrecking your ears as opposed to the earplugs that block all sound.

if they are anything like the "puaroom" ones i bought last year, you may get two pairs of earplugs, but only one set of noise filters. without the filter, the other set of plugs are useless

if you want to block noise completely, get some moldable earplug putty for a tenner off amazon. you should be able to get at least 3 sets from one pack

These are acoustic earplugs they are designed to bring loud music down to a safer more comfortable level to protect your hearing and you can hear the music better. If your ears ring after a gig that's damage caused to your hearing frequent exposure can cause irreversible damage i've been using similar for years when going to gigs lost count of the number of musicians that have said they have hearing loss from playing loudly every week and wish they'd taken better care of their hearing. a foam plug will just block noise from getting in, not what you want when listening to music

Foam ear plugs will muffle all the sound at a gig and you end up with a bass heavy mess.

A decent pair of ear plugs designed for music will reduce the volume evenly across all frequencies. I find I can usually hear music better when wearing earplugs at gigs.

I've got these, although they're currently unavailable:

Tried these a couple of years ago at gigs. They are OK, but attenuate sound a lot less well than the ER20 (amazon B0015WNZ9K) and didn't bring gig noise down as much as I needed.
More like attenuators than ear plugs?

Yeah I have these and use them for drumming. Still leaves my ears ringing afterwards, although I am playing in a small hard walled room
Are these bluetooth ?
Can only say I wish I'd known about these sorts of things as a younger man. Hearing loss isn't fun and tinnitus even less so. If you get ringing ears consider it a warning - there's a chance the ringing never stops one day..
if you can afford them get custom fitted earplugs circa £150 a pair.
Agree with dangel. I wish these sorts of ear plugs had been available years ago.

In terms of this deal, I've had ones very like these before and didn't like them (can't say for certain they are the same, but they look the same). The plastic was very flimsy, they didn't fit and didn't feel like they were effective.

Much prefer ER20s as mentioned by paulcdf and lazyfatboy.

I do worry if there are fakes going around - copy the outer plastic but just put any old material in place of the filter
