While this is a great product I'd suggest getting a broadlink rm pro for £30, and then just buy cheap rf smart plugs. I've got 16 smart plugs all dotted around the house which cost £35 total, so for £65 I've done what would have cost £300 here.

Sounds great pricewise. Does broadlink work with Google home and/or ifttt?

Interesting idea....but I'm struggling to think anything I want to control remotely

I already have Philips Hue lights.

Do you get reliable info on if the socket is in its on or off state with RF plugs? Just curious as it's important that I know the state of the devices?

I turn the kettle on from upstairs via Alexa

Also use for strip lights, LED Lghts in the kitchen and for turning the TV and Now TV devices off last thing at night

Also use for a desk fan in summer although my route was TP Link plugs at £16:49 each
