2 People Per 1 Unlimited Card @ Cineworld On Wednesdays Via Orange

Found 13th Sep 2012
People may or may not be aware of this, I only found this out today and I've almost hit the 100 movie-mark for films seen at Cineworld with my unlimited card so I am a seasoned Cineworld customer, but I was informed by a member of staff today that if you had an Orange Wednesday code, non-unlimted card holders could also watch the movie for free if accompanied by an unlimited card holder. (1 non-member to 1 member). I'm not sure if this is a well known fact but everyone I've told wasn't aware of this so I thought I'd double check!

It's mentioned every time there is a deal posted for the Unlimited Card so most people should know by now.

i didn't know, so thanks!

i didn't know, so thanks!

neither did i, but I am not a 'seasoned Cineworld customer', as i have a life out side of 'Hollywood'....but good to know not the less

cold.

i suppose i can see where you're coming from, but if i was to post that after your Xbox live has ran out, if you leave it a day then check on the dashboard you can get a month for a quid?

you really should know this by now. maybe this should be in a different section.

Dave

Thanks Heat Add

I knew about this.

But what would be good to know, is if you had say a Cineworld (or any other cinema really) free movie voucher (like the ones from Red Letter days, or the gift movie vouchers you can get), is if then can you use Orange Wednesday...

Have known this for years!

Why doesnt Vue have an unlimited card?
Cineworld sucks

have been enjoying this perk since unlimited came out however heat for the people might not know this

Didn't know this either, so heat and thanks.

Cool One. I didn't know this. I bought two cards for me and my wife, though we watch maximum one movie per week. This will save money for one card. Thanks.

Surprised how many people dont know about this.. Its been around for years.

been around for ages.
its a good deal, not on orange and I'd rather go on weekends in the morning when its quiet, using vouchers/groupons when they come on.

already stacked up on the sweet packet offers

What's Orange Wednesday?

In all fairness to the OP I don't remember this ever being posted as a deal (which it is) more just mentioned on cinema related comments dotted around the site.

I knew about this, and yes its kind of common sense, but if it saves a couple of people £10 quid at the pictures on a Wednesday night, or is a selling point to someone thinking about getting an Unlimited card and making use of it....then surely its a deal nay?

Or do we all just prefer picking fault in genuine attempts by people to to make others aware of "deals"?

you manz are dumb, that deals been around for ever hahahahaahaa

This is quite an old deal, but raising the awareness is a must....
Orange Wednesday are particularly messy with phone users and missing showings, but if you go to get your tickets from a bar rather than queuing up you can tend to miss most of the mess... obviously cinema permitting

As robswids rightly said, this offer may have been around for a fairly long time, but it's quite clear that many people, including me, weren't aware of it, and therefore the purpose of informing the community about a great deal has been done, no matter how old it is.

never had an orange account

Nice to know, might look in to getting a card now

No Cineworld in NI (sort it out, Cineworld!) but that's damn hot

We know. We've always known. It's mentioned on the Cineworld site when you look at the Unlimited details, and if you're on Unlimited they mention it regularly in the emails and other correspondence they send out.

It's the sort of thing where, if you're likely to use it, then you already know about it - I mean you can't do it without an Unlimited card, and when you sign up for an Unlimited card, they tell you about it. So not sure it really constitutes a 'deal' but I suppose any advertising of it will always find someone who wasn't aware.

I already knew, but its good to let others know too

but that restricts you to only going on Wednesday - when all of the jackals turn up to watch movies... talking, using their phone, kicking the back of chairs because they're incapable of sitting still for 90 minutes, opening copious food items that seem to have endless packaging or just plain turning up with whatever airborne illness they're carrying in the knowledge that they'll be sitting there, cough and sneezing loudly in a poorly ventilated room... or the newest one I've encountered, constantly bawling with laughter at the intonation with which actors speak their lines during a non-comedic foreign film.

In the words of Meatloaf #You took the words right out of my mouth!

I've been an Unlimited Card holder for 2 years and I didn't know about this! Although I'd rather cut my toe nails with a lawn mower than attend the cinema on a Wednesday, this will be useful to use with one of my kids straight after school. Thanks for the update!

I have heard it before but I just forget... so glad to be reminded of it

Good idea to post!

I have been a member since the good ol days of UGC Cinemas before Cineworld. Been a member since 2002 and used the orange Wednesday deal ever since it started and didn't release not too many people knew about it.

Voted hot as, well, it is

ooh i did not know about this!

How much a unlimited card costs?

How much a unlimited card costs?

£15 per month currently. If you scout around you can sometimes find codes or deals to get the cheaper. Or you can buy an annual card which saves you money slightly.

Regardless of whether people know about it or how long its been out this is still a good deal.

Heat

Also worth noting, if the booking queue is long you can also get cinema tickets from the concession stand, where unlimited cards also give 10% off food and drinks

Hmm not sure this is a deal [as such], given the fact that this will always be the case assuming Orange and Cineworld don't withdraw their products or change their Ts&Cs.

If this is a deal I expect we will see this reposted every month oO

[edit] Maybe one for the FREEBIES section?

Good mention by the OP (i've never been sure this was the case with Unlimited cards) but at nearly 9 quid a go, it's still stupidly expensive - add another £4 or so each if it's IMAX and it's crazy money - even at BOGOF!
