hot...

I know these are cheap and the reviews are good but I found the quality really poor, used mine today, hardly any grip, not sure what my other one is made from but its so much better than these, pitty I can never find it.

Definitely good enough quality for home use.

well what else would they be used for?

Plumbers toolkit.

can get a pack of 2 in B&M for £1 too - same as these

Don't need any but voted hot - one for the price and one for the reminder, mine haven't been done in the 18 months I've lived in this house. Thank you! While I'm on the subject, check your smoke alarms!

I prefer the bigger ones in poundland and tescos. These dont offer the torque as I learnt when I tried to bleed a radiator.. took a good 5 mins trying with no success. Then I tried the bigger one and it opened it within 2 seconds.

id get this but not sure if it would fit my radiator hole...

brought that universal 4 way cross bleeder and none of them fit !

Last time asked the council repair person, asked her nicely if I could have the key when she came to bleed my radiators and she said its not for you only we can do it otherwise you could damage the radiator.... was like erm ok

I don't know about the rest of humanity but it appears you just turn the key and let some air out and close it before the water comes out?

Bahahahaha!!! I got a slap off a mod last time I pulled somebody up on bought/brought Gets right on my wick!

I've got this type in my toolbox and used daily for the last 3 years with no problems....this coming from a heating fitter.

well strictly speaking it is cheaper after all 90p is less than 95p however the unit price is more as the original deal is for 2 items and the follow on post is for one

Bleeding hot deal!

Anyone who's interested, often these are so cheap, because the seller is trying to boost feedback rather than make a profit

Don't you close it when the water comes out, not before ?

And then the energy company bleeds you dry.

What a waste of money. Every home has these all over the place just lying around.

Needed one if these the other day, had to borrow a neighbours.

Heat added!

Ordered - Thanks very much!

Sounds like the 4 way tool you have is a utility tool, not a radiator bleeder (I made the same mistake). These should be fine, if not it is only 99p!

I found these too soft and eventually wore down making them impossible to loosen the bleed valve...

Teknobod

Managed to save an extra 2p here:Every penny counts!!!

Cheers..I've gone for yours... Draper as well!

95p for two of these bleedin' keys?!
Not bad

Out of Stock

you don't need these!!! Just go and open the man-drawer, there'll be at least three in there (generally a brass one, a silver one and a black plastic handled one)

I bought about 4 different keys until I got one working on my radiator but it is an old one.

You have to buy them first to have them all over the place just lying around?

I bought a 4 way cross shaped one from B&Q and it's garbage, it doesn't fit the newer radiators and after a few uses the metal end has split. Avoid.

Every radiator comes supplied with one, in theory every home should have 1 key for every radiator.....IF your plumbers' left them that is....

the nipple on my radiator is too small for these keys... ordered one from ebay but the hole on it is too big. any one know which one is the right one for smaller nipples?

slow deal day huh?

Tip: Turn the Central Heating pump off when you bleed your radiators - some systems (not all) can suck air in (depending where pump is located) if you try bleeding when the water pump is running.

Bleeding good deal!!!

Me too, there is a slighty cheaper pair 93p Draper ones on Amazon.
