2 Seater Sofa Bed @ Ikea £89

Found 1st Oct 2010
In my search for a cheap sofa bed I found this which is really reasonably priced and looks pretty decent. I bought another sofa bed which I have posted as it is slighty wider for when 2 people stay over but maybe for a small spare room or when kids stay over etc it looks a good buy.

Thanks for the pic

Had to sleep on one of these at the mother-in-laws! The last third of the bed u have to sleep on is unpadded wood so you really need something else with it to get a good night's sleep.Ok for occasional use.

I was about to say exactly the same!

This isn't really a hot deal though as it's not on sale or anything! not voted

Voted hot.Good price

Wanted one, but went to Edmonton, Croydon & Lakeside Ikeas and none had it in stock, but all but Edmonton one said in STOCK online..

We bought one for the spare room/study. People who complain that part of the bed is wooden is sleeping at the wrong end I think. Sleep with your feet at the sofa end (and on the wood) and you get a pretty decent nights sleep

Lots of stuff at Ikea is great value - I bought a wok for about £2.50 the other day - but to be honest I wouldn't bother posting on HDUK about it as the prices are all there to see on the website.

But how many people know about it? Also as it was highlighted in yellow on the website it seems like a deal to me? £89 for a 2 seater sofa bed is the cheapest I can find, please prove me wrong.

We've got this in my sons bedroom. The previous poster that mentioned the last third being unpadded is right, unless a child or someone that is vertically challenged sleeps on it then it's uncomfortable. We now use a duvet as a topper and we've had no complaints since then. Good price!

Ikea in Coventry was advertising 10% off sofas starting on Monday. Not sure if it is nationwide, might be worth a phone call... Not bad at all for £80 with the discount
