Down for Cyber Monday, they look like the Abru ones that are £49.99 atm on Argos (same image at least) Nice basic set of ladders for not much money, certainly beats their last price drop by £5, and even then I thought £38 was good

Del is £5 / C&C Free

Anyone fitted one of these before, easy / difficult ?
Quite straightforward to fit.
review says its easy to fit with little DIY knowledge.
No stock In any stores unfortunately
They are easy to fit, but you need a loft hatch that folds down (as in the picture) rather than lifts into the loft.
Changing the hatch isn't too bad if the hole is a standard size. Mine wasn't, so I bought a custom made hatch rather than alter the hole itself.
My advice is get one with an in-loft handrail. Abru do one.

Thanks

Do you need a seperate ladder to install these?
is there a minimum loft hatch size that this will fit - mine is tidgy
WTF - says stock available in all the stores near by, lets me go through to enter all my address details etc, then at the very end it gives the choice to remove from basket or save for later. "The following items need to be updated, We don't have this product".

Thanks B&Q. FY very much
these are very flimsy.....better off with a couple of cotton buds and some string......background..........roofer...

I used jupiterblue.co.uk/lof…204
I chose the 50mm frame option to hide any damage from taking off the old wooden trim. I emailed them a couple of times before I ordered and they were really helpful.

When following the instructions the ladder will probably overlap the hatch too much to push up the lid. I think the instructions said to mark at 30cm's I measured at 20cm's and this gives me enough room to push up the lid up into the loft space.

It does feel light weight (some might say cheap), but this makes it easy to push back into the loft and my 6'3" son hasn't broken it yet, and he's good at breaking stuff as he's quite heavy handed
