only 800mAh :-(

800mAh is terrible. Shiver.

Failing eyesight, it really does say 800mAH! How? Why? Madness.

800mAh is ok for kids musical toys in my opinion hence reason i bought these.

blimey the AAA's are only 350mAh!

They say 800mAh, they are more like 400mAh if you have a device to accurately measure the capacity. I use them in my wireless mouse, they are perfect as they are so light weight.

So what does the 'Ultra Max' bit refer to then?

AAA is 350mAh
AA 800mAh

I don’t understand why, there is argument is going on?

Like virtually all cheap rechargeables the capacity is often lower than what is claimed on the packaging. That's all, no argument, just facts.

These are ideal for low drain applications where weight is a factor.

Helpful to know, what would be a good mAh for AA? Thanks!

Used these. Very good. Seem quite light compared to the ones I normally use, but do the same job.

I smell a rat. Are you sure that's the capacity of the AA and not the AAA cells? Are they really NiMH hybrid types?

Edit - yep, that's what it says on the packaging. They must be mostly filler. This deal is COLD and shows how these cheap outlets make their money. Do not be duped.

2000 mAh and above is standard. So you can expect only a third of the life from these.

Got the AAA ones................no good in my house phone.............take forever to charge and drain over night if not left on the charger.

Go for ]these instead. I'm not even sure I believe that the ones in this thread are hybrid types. Perhaps they just charge them and hope the turnaround is fast enough that they still have enough charge left in them for people not to complain?

have tried several of these and find they really don't hold charge for long at all

Lets be honest is anythin actually any good out of a £1 shop. Bought these bout 6 months ago and they r terrible, prob ok for a remote wot u might use 6 or 7 times . SIck of chargin them up every 5 mins

Yes - the trick is to know what is and what isn't. This isn't and I'm glad it's gradually getting colder after the initial rush of enthusiasm.
