ok its in kavos but nice accomodation and friendly staff. a lot quieter this time of year too and nice weather still mainly.
based on 2 adults in named accomodation.

Flights:
Manchester Corfu Airport 02-Sep-2013 22:00 03:30 Germania ST4002
Corfu Airport Manchester 17-Sep-2013 04:15 05:50 Germania ST4003

Our opinion: The Nikolas Club is just a short walk from the nearby nightlife, making it the perfect choice for groups of friends wanting to sample the lively clubs and bars of Kavos.
Situated in the heart of St. Peters, the Nikolas Club consists of four blocks, one just off the main road (Nikolas Club), another above a taverna on the beach (Nikolas Club) and a further two blocks close to the beach (Nikolas Club 1). With local bars, restaurants, supermarkets and the beach all within walking distance this accommodation is in an ideal location for young holidaymakers seeking a vibrant party atmosphere with amenities within walking distance.

Kavos is a non-stop party resort with an excellent selection of lively nightclubs and bars on offer. Recover during the day under the warm sunshine on the fantastic golden sandy beach, or relax by the pool with a drink from the pool bar. This accommodation is great for a group of friends seeking value for money and a brilliant party atmosphere.

This accommodation gets pretty bad reviews...

OK price for a bit of sun. For the little you are
paying you could upgrade to a better place.
Hot and thanks for the post.

kavos shouldnt be classed as corfu!! its a hole and i'm not sure but it could well be the entrace to hell!!

Agreed. Great price but you'll probably get no sleep at all, probably get a smack of the nose from a drunken Brit and come away with an STD. It was like that when I went there anyway (_;)

Have some heat - I have just been looking at these myself - I posted a similar deal a few weeks ago which peaked at just under 1000 degrees so hoping this will do the same for you. Mine was an 18-30 deal so this is better and also pricewise. For anyone reading this thread and looking to travel immediately there are deals from £85 upwards ( not 18-30 ) and plenty of sub £120 deals for the next 6 weeks at both Thomas cook.com and holiday hypermarket ( just enter no dates and no durations nor destinations ) and you will get a blanket search - mainly Greece and turkey with Balearics thrown in for good measure. Good look and happy hunting !!

true its not maldives, but there is still lots to do in corfu and around Kavos.
Aspro kavos is nice and not far and ag georgious  (st george south ) is only a short taxi ride away. You can go visit the Achilleion Palace, aqualand, Glyfada beach. That is one of the best beaches in the greek islands, madonna tried to buy part of it as a private resort, thats just a a few off the top of my head.

there is so much more to do on any holiday in any country, than just the accomodation and local beach and the more adventurous you are the more fun youll have. use it as a base, travel about experience local culture and it doesnt matter too much where you stay

What this guy said! The holiday is what you make of it. if you get out and about I'm sure you will find plenty to see and do.

Ok so I used to work in Kavos and repped this hotel. It is pretty basic rates at about 2 star, however it is only a base for your holiday. The hotel staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful and the hotel is right on the beach. It's cheap and cheerful so you cannot expect it to be high quality.
