Good price, but these are rubbish compared to asda pizza IMO.

Blimey these are big, i don't think my oven is big enough to handle 14" oO

this deal was posted a few months ago by someone who decided to weigh the pizza LOL

That was over 3 months ago, and the offer did expire, its nice to see the offer back on.

Thanks for the post..

these pizzas are really nice u think how much u would pay at dominos

But dominos is crap too! Maybe I just have odd tastes, but I find the asda ones better than any delivered one. You need a pizza stone, but you do for any home one really.

Nope goodfellas takewaway are the best, voting cold as they are 2.00 each.

I think you'll find it is Pizza express :P

That's what she said.

Think these are going on offer as 4 for £10 soon. Works out as same offer but you will have to buy 4.

Had them last time the offer was on. Was a really good pizza, we sat outside Sainsburys eating them and at least 3 people came up to us and said they looked good.

Good deal. Goodfellas frozen pizza's are £2 in Morrisons at the moment for all you pizza lovers :-)

I had 1 of these the other week and i have to say id rather pay the extra and get 1 off the TTD range or 1 of the pizza express pizzas(when on offer), i chose the deep pan base so whether that was where i went wrong im not sure.

I found the cheese rather tasteless myself, and very little tomato. Just like dominos!

We have a pizza counter at our local in Calcot, the store is open until midnight but the pizza cooking counter shuts at 8pm? Seems strange to me, after 8pm is when you'd get more business surely?

But they are frozen. These are fresh. Bit hard to compare.

Does ASDA or Sainsburys do Chilli base pizzas in the make your own, anyone know? Curleys in N.Ireland done em exactly how i liked em..without cheese and a lovely chilli base instead :P

Guys! Honestly, the Sainsbury's counter pizzas are rubbish. The dough doesn't taste nice. Try their "Test the Difference" type for ~4.70 each and compare with the counter one. I tried that myself. Pizza Express all the way. Have you tried the new Casa Di Mama Pesto Mozarella Raising dough frozen pizza? It is half price 1.39 at Tesco these days. Not bad... Tesco "the best" brand in the chilled section is nice as well. Stange that they use these days wine vinegars in the ingredients though - didn't use that before... . ASDA stuffed crust is nice as well - 2 for 4 pounds at the moment.

Picked up for a tenner yesterday. Not as good as Asda's but did the trick. They were huge!

what...will they cook them for you in shop?

Yup, lots of sainsburys do. Wish asda would

Awesome way to make a base for some creations too. Pizza Hut used to do this one called the Deli Americano, for which you can get a good base from this deal.

Go for pepperoni, red onions and mozzarella in the deal and then buy and add separately - pastrami, gherkins, black olives, and drizzle over a little American mustard before throwing into the oven.

Pure indulgence I tell there!

I want Pizza now.

people, they're good as takeaway pizza. or do you guys know any other place that give you the pizzas hot for £3.50?

Not hot, no. Asda do 2x 10" for £4 but you still have to cook them.

I voted hot for the deal, I just don't personally like Sainsburys pizza.

another vote for the asda ones here, better than the last £16 pizza hut one i had
never had sainsburys though, not sure if my local one even does it

Just come back and seen this bought 2 Massive 14 " deep filled for a fiver Hottt Well not yet still in fridge ...

Any idea when this deal ends?

the big M&S onesare 2 for £6, or 4 for £10 at the moment

Offer ends on 12th June

Easily the best value frozen pizzas are the Carlos Stonebaked triple pack at £2.79 from Aldi.
Good tasting, and very good value.

The thing with the cheap pizzas you buy i dont like the base on them, had a fair few when i was younger(think they were from safeway ) and the base was just crap. If i want a pizza i buy either Pizza Express or a stores own top range or the next level below as the bases are much better, part of the reason is ive been to italy and had alot of pizza over there.

Then you'd know that all pizzas sold here are nothing like them.

Yep i do but there are ones you buy that are better than others albeit not as good as the real thing.

The price you pay for these pizzas from Sainsbury's are worth if all you want is something to fill you up/something to eat, 2 14" pizzas for a fiver isnt bad, keep the kids quiet wouldn't it so on that aspect hot from me.

look there cheap and cheerfull, dont expect them to be gorgeous!! they do the trick fill you up.
the cheese is tasteless and the dough isnt great. i wouldnt buy them anymore

Offer has changed to 4 for £10 now, 2 for £5 no longer available, and the cooked offer has ended too.
