Don't think you cant have a powder coated finish in galvanised!

Powder coating is as the name suggests powder coating by electrical charge and baking
Galvanising is dipping in zinc or sometimes erroneously refering to a zinc spray.

Reckon it is just spayed silver!!
Brilliant price for these, need some for my garage. Cheers op
Good price delivered, Jtf have then for 17.99 in store
There are cheaper on eBay.
This one at £34.99 for example ebay.co.uk/itm…176
That one was on the same page so I didn't even search for it!
I have similar in my garage. Be warned the MDF shelves are a mould magnet. Mine have only been in since august but exposed bits already completely covered in black and green mold. Only recently found out they need to be treated.

Only 30cm deep, the OP's ones are 45cm deep, quite a difference

Thinking of getting some for the garage...what's the best way to treat MDF to avoid mould??

No strengthening bar under the shelf on those ones. Shelf will be more likely to bow in the middle.
I swapped my shelves for ply and osb board when I had spare bits

Ive already got 4 sets of similar racking in my garage so don't need anymore but I might buy them for my new shed when I get round to building it
I wouldn't describe them as "heavy duty" but they are very reasonably priced shelving units.

Got a pair in the Autumn last year and have been pretty happy with them overall
OOS already....:-(

Your right, i had the same problem aswell, what i did was get some thick OSB and cut to size. Painted each piece two coats with white kitchen bathroom paint. now thats sealed ive never had a problem.

The MDF that comes with it needs sealing fully.

You can have both. Powder coating over galvanised by using an acid etched primer. We have this done regularly on parts we manufacture.

Perfectly aware of that option but doubt this is that. Its not what it says is it. Powder coated in galvanised. Do you really think this is that for this price???
