What should you consider besides price when choosing which tyres to get? I need 185 / 60 R15 84H if anybody can recommend a set. (edited)

For me, making sure it has an A or B rating for rain is important - safety) . Try F1 autocentre for tyres seem very cheap and say they'll beat any quote. They had an offer last week of 10% off 2 or 20% off 4 tyres which was brilliant, not sure how long till the next offer will be? And always buy a brand you've heard of. Or if not Google the reviews. Bought some Yokohamas from F1 and happy with them. (edited)

Good deal, but the Continental SportContact 7 is, for me, the new king. And by a long way.

Won't be buying Eagle F1s or Michelin Pilot Sports of any variant, no matter the deal, until such time as they manage to wrestle the crown away again!

All the reviews I've seen suggest that Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 are better than SportContact 7 in all dry metrics, and the Contis in some wet aspects, but not all. As an all out summer tyre, the Eagle F1 Asym 6 is still a better performance tyre.
