For my tyres alittle bit cheaper at costco and that's with no discount

Also check out Tyres on the Drive / Halfords.

Just had the 18" fitted this week for £188.

What do you think guys about the service of ATS in comparison to halfords/ kwikfit?

    Thanks

I think they’re all much of a muchness and it depends on the specific branch - who runs it, what the staff are like, who you get on the day.

I think lots of Halfords are ex-National Tyres. Some still have the old signage up.

So when we say - what’s Halfords like? You could be talking about a National tyre centre that’s been run by the same set of people for x years and it’s no comparison ti any other Halfords etc.

    If that makes sense. (edited)

Usually for tyre deals on here - the tyre centres run a “buy 2 x Goodyear, get a £xx discount” etc. it’s almost always completely agnostic of tyre size.

When someone posts a deal, they need to specify a particular product; most people pick a 17 or 18, or whatever they’re shopping for.

If you follow the deal link, then re-search for your tyre size, you usually get the equivalent deal.

Tyre shops rarely put a deal on a specific tyre and size.

    I found 255 35 19 GY Asym 6 at the cheapest price I’ve seen them (for my 2 x rears) - sub £300.
    Great deal IMO. (edited)

Be careful with ATS and paypal. I paid for 2 tyres online that were (admittedly suspiciously) cheap, paid with PayPal and they rang me immediately telling me it was a pricing error and they would refund me. After 3 weeks of ringing both the branch and the head office and getting nowhere I had to do a PayPal dispute. After another few weeks they didn't respond so was automatically decided in my favour. I'd use a normal card next time.
