The fact people get sucked into this is hilarious. Enjoy your Manuka. But …The fact people get sucked into this is hilarious. Enjoy your Manuka. But at £17 for 250g of honey it’s cold to me.

It's not about getting sucked into it. My 6yr old daughter has had exzema. We've only found two things to work, colloidal oatmeal and when it gets really bad (ie bleeding) Manuka honey clears it up in 24hrs. Literally nothing else works.

The same goes for the thousands of guys on here sucked into buying whey . They swear it works , but unless you shifting serious weights ( and I mean steroid lunatic level) and/or have an crap diet , it's totally a waste of money .
We buy the Costco one when it's in offer, it was £13.99 in store for two jars recently.

Don't underestimate the placebo affect. For £33.98 the placebo affect is massive, might actually do you some good. But its not down to the honey. My local wholefood shop sells some amazing Organic Ethiopian or Zambian cold pressed, raw honey for £4.99 that is just as good as this stuff.

Protein does work, no matter what weight your lifting it's always good to have extra protein or the right amount in your system, and if you have to much, it just goes to waste anyways.

I normally have two shakes a day added to my diet. I'm a super healthy eater and just use it to add that bit extra in case my food doesn't provide what I need... like today I've been rushed off my feet and without a shake I'd of not got the protein I need.

So you buy expensive whey .. And if you have too much it just goes to waste???
So you are paying good money to pee it out.
whey is a by product of the dairy industry that was initially used to fatten up pigs. Now they can sell it at stupid prices to people who have no idea and follow advertising hype.
Eat properly you don't need it .

You didn't say anything about price or consuming too much whey. You basically said it it doesn't work and a waste of money then changed your argument. I'll agree with this comment but not the first.

No no I'm saying people who intake to much it goes to waste, your body can only take what it needs, I've no double there are millions of people out there taking far to much each time and it goes to waste. My diet is really balanced, I've tracked it for years, I dont drink alcohol and chocolate/cakes/pop I just dont have. I eat a lot of eggs, fish and meats for my protein source, like you say if you want protein eat the right foods, but even me I have supplements just to keep me going

I was replying to that other guys comment about if you have too much it goes to waste ..
Prople are using whey to supplement a bad diet , not a good diet.
I gym 5 days a week , eat 3500 calories a day ,30/50/20 split on protein/carbs/fats over 4/5 meals . Aiming at 2g protein per kg body weight and find it easy to achieve a 200g protein intake a day. .. It ain't rocket science.
Of course I fell for the whey / supplement adverts and myth initially .. Slick marketing to sell a cheap cheap product at high prices when 99% of people taking it don't actually need it .
one thing that’s absolutely clear is that using Whey makes you extremely dumb because this is a deal for Manuka Honey

We use aveeno colloidal oatmeal and sometimes Walmart's own brand imported from the USA. It's often difficult to get in the UK as goes out of stock fast.

And we buy Costco's honey

Have you tried Gold Bond? Found them on a trip to the US and now use that instead.

Their Ultimate Healing cream is brilliant:

They do an eczema version with Colloidal Oatmeal (I’ve found it’s a little greasy compared to their other cream but could be worth a try):
