it's called the night shift when all the chips deemed defective are re-programed and re-engraved to look like working higher capacity flash memory. further, the chip is programed to loop back when it gets full to the beginning of the drive corrupting any files written at the start.

Samsung is amazing I remember they gave me free 64gb sd card through samsung members app
Showing £8.99.
The specs for these seem to be exactly the same as the Evo Plus cards, anybody know the difference?
Any pi-hole users used this memory card?

Would be good to know their longevity

I think I saw someone say when they was posted before this colour version was originally intended for another country, not sure on truth of it though.

They should fit, but they are not endurance cards. From what I have read, for continuous or high volume writing, an ordinary SD/TF/MicroSD card will get "worn out". For CCTV systems, I would recommend an endurance card which are built fro significantly more write cycles.
Thank you so much, CraigT, for your helpful answer x

I would buy the special "high intensity write" versions designed for dashcams and such.

You are normally safer buying SanDisk Class 10 and above Micro SD cards for a home CCTV System. Most manufacturers will test them with SanDisk cards and will probably recommend them in their manuals or other literature.
