Great deal! Thought the one for £9.99 was good, but might have to pick some more up at this price 😁
I have the Kasa TP-link smart plugs. Is this one any better?

They are slimmer and more compact so can be put in next to each other (unlike the fatter kasas) but have the power button on the side so if you do this you'll have to use the app to turn on which ever one is blocked.

I use kasa for the general stuff but if there's something I don't want the kids to be able to turn off (modem, routers, tvs etc) then I use these, they are great.
Thanks @Brutes there's also a £1 no rush reward

No, I'm not an expert but Tapo seems to be TP-Link's new budget/"entry-level" range and generally regarded as inferior to the Kasa-branded stuff. Whereas Kasa can be integrated with cool third-party services like IFTTT and has the Zigbee wireless protocol to be able to work with kit from other manufacturers, as I understand it Tapo works only over wi-fi, via a specific app, or with an Echo/Google home smart speaker. That's not to say these can't be useful if that's all one wants of them, but if you're already using Kasa then adding another app/system into the mix wouldn't make a lot of sense.

Also there's an openhab binding for the Kasa ones but not these yet, I've started using openhab with mine as for some reason (which could well be my network) Alexa/Google home was frequently losing the ablity to control one or more of my kasa devices, yet they'd often be online in the kasa app or repsond to local control
