seems a decent deal to me...willtry and grab one when passing next for study desk mounted socket
I'm not going to put these in. Soon I think everything will be USB-C (except Apple who will make connectors that aren't compatible with anyone else) and these will be obsolete.

I think it'll be a couple of years still before the plug ends are also USB C, I think only the Pixel comes with a USB C plug. Probably yet another year after that for these wall sockets to also switch to USB C. Either way it's a wall plug and you most likely always keep the leads plugged into it or at least use the same leads so it shouldn't matter anyway. Plus £5 for I'd imagine 2+ years seems alright.

That's not what is meant. USB-C is on the phone connection not the wall. The Pixel 2 is only one I can think of that uses USB-C on the charging plug as well. For most other USB-C phones they use standard USB Type-A on the charger. All USB-C phones can use these wall plugs.
Not much good for fast charging phones....

Maybe including crapple EU on to them to match everyone else's chargers....

Yep, both first and second gen Pixels. Power delivery standard only supports max speeds on USB C but then output on them sockets won't be as high as the original chargers anyway so still think there's a use for these. I charge my Pixel in the living room with these type of sockets, takes longer but more convient than getting the charger from upstairs etc.
Always on! or for all the other reasons NOT to fit these see multiple previous posts. Very bad idea even before they're obsolete.

Apple have been using USB-C on MacBooks for years and we’re initially lambasted for it. Stupid anti Apple comment.
Is it 2.1A output PER port or 2.1A total for both? Because 1050mA would be pretty poor

If the mentioning 3 times of the output in the product description still confuses you, I would give these a miss and get a man in to fit them.
