Great price these were more expensive few days ago Heat added
They have been this price before but agree it is a good price and I can vouch for the product too...got all the Christmas lights rigged up with them . Heat.
I have Alexa, but have unplugged it because of Amazon admitting it listens in. Can this be controlled by phone or anything else? Can't see anything in Amazon's description but thought I'd ask as someone usually knows the answer here?
Thanks,

Yes they can be controlled via the mobile app when setting them up.

Question: many of these smart home devices and sensors operate on 2.5Ghz only. Is there going to be a time soon when everything's 5Ghz only and we have to replace them all? Or will we all be using dual band routers for years to come? (Only my home is full of IoT devices!)

2.4ghz isn’t as strong but reaches further distances than 5ghz yet is more crowded as lots of devices use it.
5ghz is a better frequency and less crowded but doesn’t have the reach of 2.4ghz.
So at the moment I believe it’s beneficial to have both options.

Thanks @WAWG - the thought of changing dozens of home automation devices doesn't bear thinking about.
Anyone know what the phantom power draw of these is like? I have a computer setup with active speakers (no idle mode) that I'm guessing draws a fair bit when not in use. wondering whether it's worth getting a smart plug to turn everything off at night.
Now out of stock..
Thanks for posting I've gone for these today, I'll now have three different brands at home
