Just noticed that TopCashback are offering 20% cashback on all purchases at the Lego shop online. Seems too good to be true, but thought I'd share it.

Bets this doesn't apply to the £649 Millenium Falcon?

OOS anyway

All online purchases it says. No exclusions. I've always found TCB to be excellent, but can't help wondering if this is a mistake.

Don't think I would trust or have faith in 10% from any cashback company with LEGO, let alone 20%.

Have to say that's how I feel. It's probably not worth making a purchase on the strength of this alone, but if you are buying anyway it could be a welcome bonus

Can see if Quidco will double the difference too:

Sorry, just looked at this, they won't do it for promotion cash back rates.

Indeed Lego do seem particularly slow at paying up or then rejecting for no reason - I think I have a couple on QuidCo from May that still haven't paid out

I think also you'd struggle to a voucher use from it say the recent ones in the catalogue or the PayPal one

I find Quidco to be really slow regardless of who the retailer is. Still, the payments eventually and mostly come through...Lego included.

As for this deal, I just spent £50 at Lego via Quidco taking advantage of their £5 cashback deal with toy retailers. That has already tracked but am still waiting on the 8% cashback to track. TCB’s 20% appears to be an equivalent deal for that kind of spending 😔

20% for toys r us also

Thanks op. Just bought a Creator Mini as it looks like the 20% is legit.

Also noticed i was given an extra free "Build Up to Christmas" gift too.

This free gift is £13.50 on Amazon so not bad at all...cheers again op !!

Ahhhhhh noway I literally was on hsre and saw o2 was doing a free snowglobe set with a £15 spend. Meh what can I do now

For only LEGO at Toys R Us?

If you can find someone with o2 Priority there's a free snowglobe code for a £15 spend (already posted on HUKD). They are fetching around £25 on Ebay on their own.

20% seems rather a lot!

Noahsdad only excludes consoles by the looks of it.

I wanted a small set anyway so have given it a go. No worries if the TCB doesn't track. The set only cost £20 delivered and the free snowglobe from O2 fetches more than that on Ebay. I'll let you know if the TCB tracks

I wonder if using the o2 code will stop cashback

Thanks op. Not going to hold my breath but using the paypal £5 offer and £10 from the lego magazine plus of course the free lego and vip points was enough to make me buy!

Think the Paypal code has ended now. It was a couple of weeks ago I think. The £10 off is in the latest Lego catalogue which you can order online.

Yes it will stop cashback. I found out the hard way last month and I still didn't get the Cave Man set! I ended up returning my order.

Thanks OP, combined with the get £10 off a £60 or more voucher from the Christmas catalogue, and 64 VIP points, it got me the 10259 winter train station for <£55 delivered. I could sell the "build up" for a tenner too!. Never had an issue with Lego cashback via quidco, first time I've used topcashback with them

I'm after the train station too, but was waiting for the Nutcracker. Might have to buy something else as well!!

Two transactions!

Quidco is more reliable than TCB. When I last used TCB for a supposedly 10% cashback, I only got 3% and gave up after sending several emails. I confirm that the £5 PayPal offers works, but only once ;-)

I've actually found it to be the other way about! Not talking specifically the Lego shop, just in general, especially if something doesn't track. Still, over £5000 cashback between the two sites in 11 years which I wouldn't otherwise have had. Can't complain really. I just never make a buying decision based on the cashback, just in case.

Google lego and Paypal should take yoy to the page. Although might have expired. I opted in last week and had until the end of November to use it. The £10 voucher is in the lego catelogue on here recently.

So, spend over £60, use the £10 voucher, get 20% cashback, get a fiver off by using PayPal and that takes the £75 train station to under £50 with about £3.20 worth of points!! Awesome

hat if the £10 catalogue voucher cancels tcb? Tcb says "using a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback."

Yeah, I bet you won't receive the TCB if you use the £10 Lego catalogue voucher.

Toys r us too...!

Bet this won't track properly anyway - none of my larger purchases from Lego S@H have tracked properly or paid out. TCB is terrible for large commissions these days. If it does track then S@H apply the % on the pre-VAT amount.

I've just checked and it's tracked at only 3% so I've just cancelled my order and sent TCB a nasty email. I knew it was too good to be true. At least Quidco is honest and faster

Anyone else had a purchase track yet? Mine hasn't from yesterday yet. Don't want to leave this up if TCB have made an error.

Hi everyone,

We just thought we'd let you know Lego batch up transactions and so it can take a few days to track. It's not an error or anything to worry about - just the standard way of Lego tracking transactions. If it doesn't track within 7 days please do lodge a claim so we can get right on to this for you.

It is a cashback rate that is correct and we have double checked over this and everything appears to be going as we would expect.

Best wishes,
Matt
