Yeah i just checked a few stores in Northern Ireland and they arent in stock.

Do you think it was a price mistake on the website?

out of stock in the whole coutry

amazing post though.

Not really a mistake but a clearance offer - there may be one or two in stock around the UK somewhere...

I think they do this every so often to draw people in. But who knows, sometimes they are genuine bargains.

Checked these last week, couldn't find any anywhere...

More than likely stale pages of old deals, as happens with TV stands amongst other things lol But if you don't look, you never know ;-)

can not get them here Durham,Sunderland,Teesside all sold out

Not a mistake its a con to get people on there web sites.

It's not the first time ;-)

12 Apr 2006 - Ads watchdog bites PC World.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has slapped PC World for advertising product on TV that it was unable to supply to customers because of lack of stocks.

Ex-Currys/Dixons employee here...

Currys and PCWorld price items which are clearance or end of line with 97p or 98p at the end (e.g. £9.97) to clearly identify them to staff. Often they reduce items such as DVDs, games, blank media, etc. down to 97p or 98p to clear out the last few items still floating around a handful of stores. In pretty much every store there will be at least one employee who is wise to this and will keep an eye out for them (I know because that used to be me!).

So the chances of finding any of these in stock is pretty low, but worth keeping an eye out for, IMO.
