20% extra cashback when selecting Zeek as payout for topcashback Cashback. Just got an email. Seems it's the best offer they've had for this

Don't miss £6.30 TCB for joining Zeek and £1.05 for existing customers (not sure if using Zeek eGift card for purchasing other cards qualifies).
thanks to @grumbler for this extra info

Personally I would be worried if Zeek owed me £300, who knows when their VC money will run out?
you get a zeek gift card / credit note after about 24 hours from topcashback. I've done it for the last 3-4 payouts from topcashback.

You can then apply that to your account in zeek by using the redeem credit note type link with the code you get from topcashback.

Just be warned that once applied to Zeek they will then email you virtually daily reminding you that you have credit in your zeek account so probably best to leave it in your rewards wallet in topcashback if you dont want the zeek pester mails.

Oh wow. Is this every time you pay yourself or just the first time?
Thanks OP.

How does it work if you opt to get cashback via Zeek? Does that mean that you get Zeek credit which you can put towards any gift card?

Yes and you can also go through topcashback again to get any gift card again, earning cashback on that too

Yeah I think so, I've not used it myself as only just seen it and I'm starting work now, I'm going to do it later. It's only on till the 24th of January. They do the offer a few times a year a believe

That is a very good point indeed, coz I redeemed £300 odd of cashback from Quidco into Zeek and now they pepper me with stupid emails every day - telling me I have balance. Well I very well know that - and wouldn't want to be reminded unless Zeek are doubling them up for me or something - silly really
FWIW this was posted exactly a month ago hotukdeals.com/dea…146 - heat from me for the remind nonetheless
Zeek is pathetic, they charge fee for e-cards and postage for physical cards for each retailer separately. You can't have one single order for gift cards you like if these are for more than one retailer. CS is very poor as the responses are irrelevant or standard cut and paste texts. The T&C's of use of cards are very restrictive and even a very careful read would not eliminate surprises. Avoid if possible. The highest discount rates are applicable for lower amount of cards or the minimum value of a card is too high (like £200), the cards and discounts keep on changing with a blink of eye. The way everything works is just to mislead customers.

Thank you Leah

the whole cashout thing was much simpler when you could do clubcard points
and then when they only really had amazon
I did this a couple of weeks back to purchase Sainsburys vouchers, will be spent in a couple of weeks so as good as cash.
Zeek used to be ok, but now they're charging for "processing fees" and suchlike. Their discounts are pathetic - they actually had Amazon vouchers at a 0% discount. ZERO. What's the point in that? Money laundering?

Avoid. I do not trust them one little bit.

Only once I needed to contact them and I don't recall any problems.
The value of the cards and the discounts probably depend on the retailer. For Halfords I see flat 8% for all nominal values in the range £25-£200. This saved me £68 on £850 purchase with very little effort. The processing fee was just 30p.

Can I use the Zeek card for purchase from argos ??
Need to purchase a item of £200.
20% more value and you get to buy a discounted gift card, so you could get 25%/30%? Plus cash back on the transaction.

Heat from me

Do zeek charge any hidden fees that only appear when youre about to get a card? As in, if theres 50 in the acct, can that buy a card for 50?

I think the point is to combine it with a deal like this. Getting 20% extra on your Amazon Vouchers is an incredibly good deal. Some customers get promo credit and they'll use it on Amazon Vouchers and therefore people are willing to pay without a discount (As they have promo credit).
Aargh. Cashed out to Zeek a few days ago!

That was Quidco. This is TCB : )
Looks like 100 amazon voucher would end up being about 77 after signup discount/referral.

Yes they charge a small transaction fee, for my orders it was 30p. But if you have £50 in your account and want to buy a £50 card you will pay whatever the discounted price is for the card, say £47, plus the 30p, so your account balance should still cover it.

I was a bit dubious at first but had some quidco cashback before xmas. I transferred it to zeek credit with a 15% bonus, and then got my e-gift cards at 3% - 10% discount so it was a quick and easy way to get a nice bonus discount.

£50/£60=0.83, i.e. ~17% discount.
Zeek sell Argos cards with 3% discount, i.e. the total discount is ~17+3=20%. More accurately - 0.83*0.97=0.81, i.e. ~19% (ignoring 30p fee)

I didn't know the viet cong were financing zeek.

They must have loved it long time.
I’ve hit my buying limit with Zeek and been told I have to wait 30 days before I can get any offers over 1%. I’ve emailed saying I need to buy £500 more can you remove the block and they declined

I’ve been limited twice however 1st time wasn’t for 30 days. In total I have bought £1425 of next vouchers
Damn cashed out couple weeks ago. Did try to go through tcb as a new customer but to confirm you’re a new customer you have to go through a link through email so does that track?
Gave up half way through
I don't remember any problems with registering my wife as a new customer - and it was tracked (£7 that time). I am chasing TCB for my £2 for an existing customer though.
Banned
thank you for sharing OP.

Worse still they don't tell you if a private person or business is the seller. I don't believe that the number of vouchers sold can mean anything other than business sellers are involved. Next up, some of their e-Voucher codes are such that after selling them, the seller can wait until they get the money you paid from Zeek & then use the voucher themselves - currently testing out the CS with a large value Argos e-voucher. So my warning is; AVOID any e-Vouchers via Zeek, until they start confirming if you are buying from a business seller or Bob from [insert the name of a place you feel is dodgy to save me from being judged in these overly PC days we live in :)].
I have to give them & more so Argos twitter team credit - fearing a not me, not me stalemate, I contacted Argos with some well worded questions (designed to help them be able to help me without breaking DPA) & they replied with as much as they could before the DP shutters came down - just enough to convince Zeek to refund. Unfortunately I'm back to having a load of credit that I need to scar their site for the odd good value item to use! Even with a £3 goodwill credit, would far rather have the hours of time & sleep back!
