I am thinking of going to the gym and am on a low carb high protein diet at the moment. Would the extreme stuff (the lowest carb one) be good for me or is it just for pro weight lifters?

if u r starting off at gym leedale30 ur best using either a weight gainer to hench up with mass and when u have got some mass change to all in one and something like promax, it is more for overall definition and tone.

Hey I WAS (past tense) fat about 1 1/2 months ago 15.10st. But what I used was a brand called Sci-MX Your text here very decent price on all products.
My main goal was to lose weight so first I started off with their Diet shakes, they only have 190cals and pack 20g protein per serving..i would have a serving after a morning workout for breakfast, every few hours I would have a piece of fruit and a SMALL meal and after my evening workout I would end my day with another serving of the diet shake. 6 weeks have gone by and I have lost over 2 stone and now im 13.5st.
My goal is to reach 11st with around 13-15% body fat, only then Will take on the extreme stuff to build my muscle.
Remember I have only been doing cardio only, running etc and believe me you use ALL the muscles in your body to do that so you are building muscle at the same time but not at a ridiculous rate.
I have heard its better to build and work on your muscles when your slim as all the nutrients will go straight to your muscles only as the body fat is minimal. I'm no expert so dont quote me lol i'm just sharing the experience that has worked for me so far.
Oh dont forget to do your stretches...my mate has build up so much muscle that he has to call his little brother to help him put his jacket on lol

The quickest way to lose weight is with a good dose of dysentery.

cheers for the advice. I have lost 4 and a half stone since mid January just eating no carbs so now time to do some muscle building.
