Lovely atta
And given its basically strong fine-ground wholemeal flour it works well in the bread maker.

Preparation and Usage

Heera Medium Chapatti Flour is great for making chapatti or roti.
It can also be use to make parathas, puri, bhakhri, thepla etc.

Recipe for Chapatti (Roti)

Ingredients: 2 cups Heera Medium Chapatti Flour, Water as per require, Pinch of Salt, 1 tsp vegetable oil.

Method:
(1) Take the Heera Medium Chapatti Flour, salt and water and knead into a stiff dough. Pour a small dash of vegetable oil onto the outside of the dough once it is ready. Leave it for at least 30 minutes.
(2) Break off a handful of dough (walnut size pieces or even smaller)
(3) Roll with rolling pin with help of dry chapatti flour to a thin round shape (Roll as thin as possible).
(4) Place chapatti on preheated tawa (heavy based pan). When cooked (dry) on one side, turn it on to the other side. When brown spots appear on second side, turn again.
(5) Use a kitchen towel and lightly press the chapatti, rotating at same time and it will puff.
(6) Make as crispy as required (apply butter on chapatti if required to make butter chapatti).
(7) Serve hot with curries
