If I buy five, will I get 100% off?
prices havnt changed from what I can see. these prices were online but now showing extra 20% off already applied. hmmm
Cheapest I've ever seen for the Voodoo Bizango. £479.99 with the 20% off, I paid £540 for it in February and love it

Also, cheapest I have seen for the Carrera Vanquish at £263.99, I am in the process of buying it at £269.99.

If I hadn't already, I would be getting them at this price. A steal for the Bizango
The Carrera Crossfire E, electric bike, was a reasonable good deal at £1K.... now at £800 its a great deal. Men & womens frames and three different sizes.
Hydraulic brakes and although the battery is stated as 9amp/hr, its actually 11.6amp/hr.

Yes, and I voted to leave Europe completely and relocate the UK to a hot and sunnier place.
And you know what, It's happened today.
Can't get better than that.

Yes if all bikes bought are the same price. You pay 100% for 4 bikes at the same price and the 5th bike will be 100% off I. e. free. Go for it!
Tempted by the Bizango. £479.99 then another 10% with British cycling. :P
For once Halfords seem to be giving a genuine extra 20% off.
I've been looking for a mountain bike for my wife.
Some of the bikes have never been cheaper. I chose the Carrera Vengeance 2015 model as it has a better spec than the new 2016 version.
At £200 it's even cheaper than the £215 I paid back at the beginning of May for my daughter, who has been very happy with it.

http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/end-of-line-bikes/carrera-vengeance-womens-mountain-bike-2015

Also a perfectly respectable entry level women's mountain bike is the Carrera Valour at £159.20
http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/end-of-line-bikes/carrera-valour-womens-mountain-bike-2015

The main differences from the Vengeance are that it has the lower spec Shimano Tourney gears and V Brakes. Personally I recommend spending the extra £40 for the disc brakes and Shimano Altus gears, but both bikes are perfectly good entry level bikes. You would have to spend significantly more money than the Vengeance to get a better spec.

Unfortunately, the Men's versions of both bikes are £40 dearer.

British Cycling Club 10% discount already mentioned, plus many people have access to work discount voucher schemes. Our one currently gives 10% off Halfords gift card purchases.

For the same price, the Voodoo Marasa hybrid is a no brainer over the Crossfire.

I have often thought about an electric bike, as since a heart attack I lack a bit of puff. I have always hesitated though as I'd be so worried about it being stolen when left in town.
Unless I am missing something the Carrera Subway 1 looks to be the same spec as the Crossfire for a load less money...

Agreed though that if you have £240 the Voodoo Marassa is a steal.

And yes the 20% is already applied

I lock my Ebike in town quite often, but i use a heavy duty D Lock and only locked up for an hour or so.
I bought the Crossfire 1 and fitted an Ekit to it about 3 yrs ago, cost about £600 in total.... but if this Crossfire E had been out at the time for £800, i would have bought that instead.
I can confirm 20% is genuine. Bought the Batman Bike for youngest two weeks ago for £99, not £79 . . grr
Sorry, it's not a code, it is through a website with a username and password.
Worth asking amongst your friends though, it's quite common amongst NHS, Emergency services, local government and education employers.
Amazing , was literally looking at a bike for my lads birthday on their website last night , saved a decent amount so got it today , nice one OP
To be honest, there is a bargain bike for everyone in this sale. I have spent quite a lot of time researching and buying bikes this year for myself and my family. I have never seen prices as low as this.

Halfords prices and offers change every few days, so I would recommend anyone thinking about it to just get on and reserve t he bike at this price.

Thinking about the Saruna for my 8 year old daughter - halfords.com/cyc…-24

Mostly city and a little bit of off road usage I suppose.

Anyone with prior experience of this?
Just ordered one of the 13 line of bikes for my nephew. Will try the British Cycling thing when I pick it up, but have heard of mixed results for click and collect.
Does anyone know how long the 20% is for - and if I order today for click-collect (so I can pay in store) - how long do I have to pick it up - presume they will keep it for a few days at the least?

17th August is quoted on the site.

I'm guessing they're anticipating a medium term boost in cycling with the weather and Froome's inevitable victory in this years TDF
I've reserved mine on Click and Collect, not bothering with the free bike build as I had to rebuild the last one Hslfords did. The confirmation email says it is available from now until Friday.

Thanks - the reason I ask is then I could just buy some discounted vouchers to use in store off Zeek or likewise - that would be an additional discount then on top of it - making it sweeter I suppose

Has anyone tried the 10% voucher linked to the original post - and if that works ?

Fantastic just in time for this brilliant weather!
Friend bought this bike a month ago at £450 and its great, now at £360 which is an amazing deal. Only 16" left otherwise I'd be tempted

I would love to know too -:)
Be prepared to rebuild the bike, or take it to a proper bike shop to get it set up. In 4yrs as a Cycling Instructor you can always spot the bikes from Halfords, usually because the forks are on backwards!
For anyone looking at the Boardman FS Pro, they wont honour the Bristish Cycling Discount on top of the 20%. Dont think its one branch being funny as i got the same line from 4 different branches.

Its a bit of a generalisation that, that folk commonly like to jumo on. Ive had a bike from Halfords another from Cycle Republic, both have been setup well and the customer service has been really good, particularly Cycle Republic.
The Kona lava dome for under £300 looks like quite a lot of bike. Its a bit on the heavy side but even so!
I have the Carrera Fury and really recommend it. I've had it for about 5 months now and It's such a nice bike for the money. Good air forks, decent avid brakes and sram chainset. It's down to £439.99 in this sale which is a steal. http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/mountain-bikes/carrera-fury-mountain-bike-2015
**Also really recommend the 3 year bike care plan too**
It's £40 if the bike costs less than £500, and you get a free silver service each year plus accessories and repairs done free. Nice piece of mind (plus the services usually cost £50 each - go figure).
The most important thing is to find a high quality and low priced bike, with a curved high strength handle bar that can take a pulling.
Hello,
I am looking at either of these 2 bikes

Could someone advise me which way to go, it will be used for a 7 mile commute a couple of times a week. Extremely hilly with a 15% gradient at one point Thanks for any advice
