Gonna give those 1000Mbps powerlines a go. I tried some 500Mbps TP-Links are they suck on BT TV, kept buffering!
Be aware that some of these are cheaper on Amazon even after the 20% discount.

I'm interested in the "D-Link 1000Mbps Powerline Gigabit Starter Kit - 2 Pack". It's £21.99 on Amazon; can you see it cheaper?
I'd highly recommend passthrough for these unless you've a million power sockets. You really can't argue with £17 for 1gb powerline though.
Don't know if I should take the plunge with this. I've heard some powerline adaptors don't work due to the circuitry in your house. Returns a hassle from mymemory.

Nope, it's cheaper here. But both the Wireless Home Siren and the Wireless Home Security kit are cheaper on Amazon, even with the discount. That's why I wrote "some" and not "all".
is the wifi range extender any good? Anyone have one of them, whats the verdict?

Need something to boost the wifi in part of the house
Can you mix and match powerline adapters? Have some tp link ones currently

yes
They will all run at the speeds of the slowest ones though. Ie if you have 500mbps now and add these they will all run at 500mbps max.
5% TCB just tracked.

For those wanting to add to another manufacturer's pair I'd suggest buying two pairs of these & Ebaying the existing pair. That's my plan anyway.
Just letting you know the D-Link N300 WiFi Range Extender is under £10 at ebuyer.

Seem to get about 100 - 150Mbit/s actual out of them, at this price I think I'll pickup a 2nd pair, be interesting to see if adding more makes them faster or slower (I think the newer gen ones can act as repeaters on the powerline side)

Lack of passthrough is a tad annoying though.

Thats not too bad, hopefully it will be OK for BT TV. I did re-consider it as it didnt have a pass through too but we shall see how it goes
Coupon code "DLINK20" is not valid.

Anyone else received the homeplugs? A quick initial test shows a lowly 40Mbs & they're also significantly larger that the Netgear I already own. So looks like they're going back.

I tested my old ones 200Mbps and the speed I got was 42Mbps, then I swap my powerline adapters to D-link and the speed I got was 120Mbps.
I had the D-Link 1000Mbps Powerline Gigabit Starter Kit though on the weekend and this worked perfectly with BT TV and with HD channels too. I tried the TP-LINK TL-WPA4226KIT AV500 Powerline before these and it use to buffer. THank OP for the find
