Argos furniture is appauling quality. It looks nice at the start but wait a few months down the line you will find drawers collapsing, screws coming out, sofa material disintegrating etc.. If you plan on keeping furniture for a while then I would not recommend Argos as I bought wardrobes, dressing table, drawers, bedside desk, bathroom cabinet, sofa, sofa bed etc.. from there and every item had an issue after a while. Only a wooden bed has been ok but even that gets marked with dints easily due to the type kf finish it has. So beware if you are looking for long term furniture, the prices may look decent now but you may regret this in a years time with the inferior quality items.

Just ordered pur £200.00 sofa and got it for £160
Can confirm it's a accumulative £150. 20% off everything if the basket total is £150 and above
Also works with mattresses, which are often excluded
Voted hot, the £350 sofa bed we nearly got last week qualifies for this, so £70 savings and to make it better, got an Argos card today, 12 months free interest if paid on time.
Just ordered a sofa. Code works with no problems.

Thanks OP.

I'm planning to order it today. I think is called Argos 2vseater sofa bed, £350 listed price.
FYI I used this on a mattress yesterday. Not obviously furniture but it works.
Any good deals on tv units?
Got a mattress I was looking at the other week but wasn't sure... but the code swayed my opinion plus the 100 Night Comfort Promise helped
Does anyone knows when the code ends, thanks. I think ive spotted somewhere will end on 7th but can see this anywhere now. Thanks!

Potentially silly question - if I bought a sofa and didn't like the look of it, could I just return it within the 30 days. How would that return work - would I have to get it to them or would they pick it up?

So long as it was unused then I think Distance Selling Regs would apply (and yes, they'd pick it up).

I ordered a display cabinet for £300 on Friday, they just applied the discount for me over the phone.

So thanks OP, now I can use those savings on toilet roll.

If you fancy a bit of a faff and you have a blue light card or a Defence Discount card, you can buy Argos e-gift cards with 4% off and use them and the code. The delivery via email of the gift card is almost instant.

Just to counter - this is not my experience at all. I haven't bought as many items as you have listed but sofas, beds, cabinets and bookcases have all lasted 4-5 years so far with no huge wear or failures and still going strong.

I'm not saying your experience isn't valid - it is. I'm saying it depends on the use of the items, pets, children, weight, skin-contact with materials/moisturing creams (misturised hands/legs will eat away at anything from car interiors to sofas over time), humidity, building the item and so on. I think the only item I've had fail from Argos is the minky clothes hangers.
