Found 20th Oct 2012
Noticed this hasn't been posted -

20% off games, blu rays, dvds, cds at HMV in store using the O2 Priority moments smartphone app.

Considering there are a few in store bargains on at the moment - you could really clean up!

Excludes all gift cards (iTunes, PSN, XBL etc) and any Apple Hardware or generic tablet computers. Offer can't be used in conjunction with any other offer (so no 6 for £20 blu ray deal + 20% off)

Right then. Start listing loopholes and bargains!

Offer CAN be used in conjunction with the 5 for £30 offer

What's the cheapest smartphone you can get?
How do you download 02 priority moments, as I can not find it on the market app place. And yes I am on 02. Thanks!
you just go onto the app store also you can if like me the app isnt working just use the wap version
TheBoss96 - search for O2 (not 02 as you twice mentioned in your post).

The letter O and digit 2, not the digits zero-two!!
Not bad, some decently priced stuff instore.
Universal Monsters blu ray for £32, ta very much!
a bit to late. Just spent over £100 with them today. Grrrr
Can this be used with buying consoles?!

No Games hardware or Tablets/iPads unfortunately.

Have you been in many supermarkets lately? Especially for CDs, HMV tends to be cheaper.

It says nothing about consoles. "Not valid against the purchase of the following: iPad, iPod, Apple desktops, tablet computers, HMV gift vouchers, gift cards, iTunes gift cards, mobile etop-up cards, tickets, downloads or warranties. Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with another offer or discount." (It does work on sale items though, just not multi-buys).
Tried using this today in Crawley, didn't work, after a 30 minute wait for someone to sort it, I gave up and paid the full price
All they have is a piece of paper from head office with a barcode on it, it shouldn't take much "sorting out"! Shame.
Hadouken!

(so no 6 for £20 blu ray deal

oooh, I'd like that very much, but I think it's still 5 blus for £30

What three DVDs did you get?
Damn, 'exludes apple hardware' as my brother wants an apple tv for Christmas.
Can you pre-order games with this?
According to the app;

Offer is not valid against the purchase of the following: iPad, iPod, Apple desktops, tablet computers, hmv gift vouchers, gift cards, tickets, downloads, or warranties. Offer not available in conjunction with any other offer or discount.

So it looks like all game hardware, headphones etc are all OK! Might buy a 3DS XL now! or see if I can put down a hefty deposit for a Wii U with the 20% off, if they allow it of course!

Good question, doubt it.
Hmm, would have gone for the Archos I'd it worked on tablets ...

For everyone asking about deposits, pre-orders and the like - you can't use it.
It would appear that the transaction has to be completed there and then.

@Celini - Ha. Yep. £30 not £20. It was incredibly early for me this morning when I posted this. Was probably still inebriated from the night before.
Thanks Uffie. Shame you can't as it would be a good alternative to the supermarket's websites.
Excludes microsoft points? I'm out..

I wonder if you can use it on apple TVs then? Does anyone know if they stock them in store? I know they stock them online.

I've never seen them in stores to be honest, but I will have another look tomorrow! Gonna get a trade price for a PS3 and utilise this 20% voucher
You can also text moments to 2020 to get the web app or app download link

Yep earlier today to get some shopping, haven't bought any music or films from an offline retailer for years though.
I rang two stores and both said they cannot be used against games consoles
Then I'd be going into a store and saying "Can you tell me where it says that?"
V stupid question but I take it you have to be an O2 customer to use the app?
The app asks for your mobile number which I presume has to be on O2 for it to work.
Can this voucher be used on pre-owned games? Thanks
What is procedure when getting the deal at checkout? Do you have to show the app open with the code displayed? (I don't have 02)

No - when you have the app there are little animated moving lights under the code, and staff know to look for them. Sometimes they will even move the screen on your phone to check. Unless you get lucky, but it would be embarrassing if you got caught out.
