About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Jamieson & Carry is parting ways with Omega, and is selling off the remaining stock at 20% off. There are a range of Seamasters, but I thought this was the best pick of the bunch for the price.

The Seamaster 300M is one of the brand's flaship models.
Description from the Omega website:
Since 1993, the Seamaster Professional Diver 300M has enjoyed a legendary following. Today’s modern collection has embraced that famous ocean heritage and updated it with OMEGA’s best innovation and design.

This 42 mm model is crafted from stainless steel and includes a blue ceramic bezel with a white enamel diving scale. The dial is also polished blue ceramic and features laser-engraved waves and a date window at 6 o’clock.

The skeleton hands and raised indexes are rhodium-plated and are filled with white Super-LumiNova, while the helium escape valve has been given a conical design.

The watch is presented on a stainless steel bracelet and is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, which can be seen through the sapphire-crystal on the wave-edged caseback.

First off, Jamieson and Carry are an excellent independent and have been around for many decades.

As for them parting ways with Omega, that’s interesting given that another major independent in the City (Finnies), likewise had a good deal of Omega watches in their sale. The speculation being that they had likewise parted company with Omega. (edited)
Yes, both are parting company with Omega due to a new boutique opening nearby. I just received a CK589 from Finnies. Some of these models were only released last year, so very unlikely you will see discounts on them again for a while.

Why would I buy this when their Moonswatch is only £207 and features a more accurate Quartz movement? (edited)
Why buy any watch? If you have a phone, that will tell you the time.

I purchased the white SMP on steel just after Christmas from another AD for the same price. It’s seems like Omega are having a spring clean of their appointed ADs perhaps?

    Hot from me

Looks like a £35 watch. Emperors new clothes and all that.

    Never liked this watch.

    Bracelet does not taper!
    Helium valve.
    The hexagon bezel.

Not for me thanks but Speedmaster is another level
The bezel isn't a hexagon. It has 12 sides so is closer to a dodecagon.

    A hexagon has six sides.

Still my favourite watch plus I can pretend to be James Bond from Golden Eye

Omega are slowly moving to a boutique only retail model which is fine as they are awesome but unfortunately very unlikely to get any discount from an OB
And will have interesting effects on the grey market.

There are 35 other Omega watches listed in sale.
    My personal preference.

Blimey they have gone up! I bought my 300m chrono a good few years ago for around 2k. Beautiful watch, and apart from a few scuffs on the clasp, it still looks new.

I paid 900 quid for my seamaster 20 years ago and it hasn't skipped a beat since. Buy cheap, buy twice.

Still looks great that! Timeless classic.

@ManiSingh One for you somewhere in that lot?

I wonder if they are going to be lower than this
Instore I would expect to see wiggle room as those who can make such decisions are onsite.

Took my Seamaster into Goldsmiths just before Christmas to send away for a service. They said there are huge delays currently and could be without the watch for several months (up to six!)
I know watches that take over a year to fix, and by fix I mean reset the date function. Not sure if they actually did anything or just waited.

    No Speedmasters
    There were, all gone.

This is a beautiful watch. The craftsmanship and quality of the Seamaster is superb. I used to have this watch but sold it to buy carpets for the house :P I would recommend the larger watch face not the mid, looks nicer even on a slender wrist. Assuming the Seamaster still comes in a large face? (edited)

If I buy this today for 4k and need to sell it tomorrow, what would I get back?

As I tried to say before the overzealous swear filter kicked in, still there on another bit of the site but my Lloyds credit card has blanked me over with their security and can’t complete the purchase. of course other way to authorise either as the call centre is shut.

@srp111 Still in stock on this LINK
J&C list all watches individually. (edited)
I am praying it’s still there in the morning and Lloyds wise up so I can buy it.

Hot deal - thank you for posting. I really don't need another Omega in the collection but I don't have an automatic omega...and the black seamaster pro is super tempting at that price.

I am hoping someone else buys it before i make a decision

Looks like it's out of stock now
They have others. White dial face is for sale at this price.
