Found 3rd Mar 2015
Following my previous post about Morrisons running 20% off certain gift cards, it looks like Tesco are doing the same, but with a slightly different selection:

iTunes
New look (same deal at Morrisons with added fuel bonus)
Monsoon
Facebook (same deal at Morrisons with added fuel bonus)
Prezzo
H&M
Accessorize

Running until Mothers Day (15th March)

For details of the Morrisons gift card and fuel offers, see my other post here - hotukdeals.com/tag/dea…306

Thanks was going to pop 2 morrisons but will get from Tesco when am in doing my shop!

Great deal and just made this hot for you.

Does anyone know if you can use H&M vouchers online?

Do the vouchers have a spend before date?

you can not use the h&m cards online

You also get 150 clubcard points on £50 gift card spend. It has to be £50 after the discount has been applied.

You also get both Clubcard points and Tesco fuel save points on non-Tesco's own giftcards bought instore.

how do i find the gift cards on the site, or do they need to be purchased instore?

I assume you can only use the Facebook cards to buy Candy Crush related nonsense rather than for advertising or sponsored business posts?

I don't think that is true, perhaps someone can prove me wrong by checking their receipt.

I can confirm you do not get points or fuel credit (My wife just purchased a New look voucher).

Its a standard ongoing promo of the 150 clubcard points for £50 non branded gift cards. I havent seen any terms and conditions of the 20% off promo so suggest to check instore. When you buy gift cards the bonus points will be referenced on your receipt so you will know pretty quickly.

Reference comments above it would have needed to be at least £50 of spend after discount - so would be good if friendlydave above can confirm this.

p.s. I need to get some 3v cards this weekend at Tesco so will see if i can see anything around the 20% promo terms and conditions

Thank you Chanch, this is what is on their website currently for the standard 'points' deal. It sounds like you have to spend at least £50 without the discount, but someone needs to confirm.

However if you do find out, can you please let me know straight away? And I will do the same, if I find out first. Both for the minimum spend itself (£50 before or after the discount), and whether we will actually get any Clubcard points at all with this offer.

How much was the amount of the gift card? Was it £50 before or after the discount?

Maybe that is why you didn't get any Clubcard points.

Also, do you get normal Clubcard points too, in addition to the 150 points bonus? i.e. if you bought £50 worth (when not on 20% discount) you would get 200 points in total?

Looked instore today and in the 20% off point of sale material I could not see any specific terms and conditions - it just says refer to the terms and conditions on the back of the card

Based on this I cant see how the generic offer of 150 points per £50 could be excluded - as previously stated it needs to be £50 after discount. Personally I would just buy it - check my receipt straight away to see if the points had been added - any issues take it up with customer services and ask them for the terms and conditions

No it's a straight 150 points per £50

Separately if your planning a big Amazon purchase, its worth buying 3V cards instore (buy these at face value of £25) - which you can then use to buy Amazon gift certificates and add to your Amazon account.

Okay, thanks for checking and for the advice.

Btw, you know the 3V cards, don't you have to pay any extra fees on top of the face value (e.g. activation fee)?

No extra fees - you buy the £25 cards at face value. This article probably explains it better than I can on the benefits and uses

Hi Chanchi - appreciate this is an old thread, but wondered if I could ask a quick question about the bonus 150 clubcard points on a £50 voucher spend? I'm looking to buy over £150 of non tesco vouchers and am wondering if I could earn the bonus points 3 times over if I bought them in 3 separate lots of £60? There's no advertising for the bonus points in my local store and when I asked the question at customer services they had no idea what I was talking about! They said the only way to check would be to actually buy the vouchers, but I'm a but reluctant to spend that sort of money without knowing for sure first. Any help you could give would be much appreciated, thanks! Xxx

No problem Manic

So if your buying the £150 of branded giftcards (non Tesco) then you can pay in one transaction and get the 450 points. You will see on your receipt straight away that you get the points.

That's brilliant Chanchi - many thanks for the quick reply! Good to know that I can buy all the vouchers in one go and earn the 450 points, I thought I'd have to buy them in separate £50 denominations to earn 150 points a time. Any idea how long the cards take to load up, are they available to spend Immediately or do you have to wait 24 hours?
