None of these is the cabin size - either too large or too small, unfortunately. Heat otherwise.

Thought the medium one was quite a good size, but like you say no good for cabin but these are the cheapest around. I have 1 and have just ordered another, excellent case, they are exceptionally light.

Thank you....the small one is 2cm too high for cabin baggage but well below on other dimensions...so I'm going to risk it. :-)

had two of these from matalan and yes they are light weight but they dont last, two holidays and the wheels were ruined and the material split ...got refund

I bought one of these 3 years ago. Was busted when I got off plane coming home. Airline refused to compensate as they said it was a design issue and manufacturer said it was airlines problem. On mine it seems the side support poles came apart, feels like they slid into each other rather than being a single soldered unit and I can't get them back. Might go in to matalan and check if they have improved the build spec as the lightweight was defo a plus factor..

Mine were bought last year, so a recent ish model...were rubbish. In addition to the problems I already described they are so light that things inside them bulge the case out (if this makes sense) meaning that if you have something that slightly makes its way to the bottom of your case as you wheel them along the lumpy bit scrapes along the floor and splits the fabric...abs hopeless. Matalan did try the old airline excuse but we put up a fight and they gave us credit notes (not refund as i previously said wrongly..sorry), they wanted to send them for "testing" if we stuck out for refund...even tho we had the receipt which was less than 6 months old!

well thanks for all the info i was gonna buy these for my hols but if they dont last aint gonna bother

I have had mine for 2 years, the first time I used it it came off the plane bent....I just knocked it back into place. Have been on numerous trips since and always been great, never been overweight (not the luggage anyway). Best suitcase I've had and I'm not careful with my luggage at all. It's been dragged downstairs etc. Must have got the perfect batch.
