Just Eat has some great restaurants in my area.

Just Eat has some great restaurants in my area.

I'm sure they do.

However, didn't you see the Watchdog story about them having lots of 'restaurants' on their books that were completely unverified?

I'd imagine they've tightened up their policy now, but it was a dangerous and unprofessional practice.

Anyone know if I can use this voucher on top of the 20% off already offered by the restaurants in my area ?

When they had this offer last time, it did not work on already discounted takeways (near me anyhow).

You don't need to enter your email, just use the code JEHAPPY101.

As jcodonne mentioned It does not work on already discounted takeaways

lol at all the fools,i use a takeaway that i know exists,i sometimes collect, there really nice and its a once in a while treat as i normally eat a really healthy diet.
watchdog only tells u the bits it wants to get the juicy story.

what they found is valid and justeat should of checked that every place was real but lots of bigger companies make bigger mistakes and people still use them, mcdonalds mayo etc etc.
they have checked through there registered resurants and taken them off and now do checks so its all ok now.

What a stroke of luck, just came on the PC to order and refreshed HUKD and cabaaaaam.... Cheaper pizza....

Thanks OP

i tried it with 4 of my local ones with 20% off and didnt work.show us your reciept?

Also use quidco for 3%

You can select a delivery for tomorrow which I've done

Where is the voucher box?!

Darn, and pizza night is tomorrow.

Does it work if I order now for delivery later tonight ? Like at 10pm ?

Worked fine - ordered a £13 meal for two and got £2.62 off!

Shame you're charged a 50p fee for a card as the voucher doesn't work with cash!! Still. £2.12 off a nice takeaway for wifey and me!

The places that 20% off already dont have the voucher box, only the restaurants that dont have a discount will give me the voucher box.

Yeah, I'm aware where you can check if they're legit, I work in food safety. Thing is Just Eat didn't bother when they registered them leaving their customers open to dodgy take away food.

Why is this a better deal than this? http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/20-off-takeways-hungryhouse-co-uk-with-debit-credit-card-payments-hungry-house-1590611

Edit: You can use this 20% off code in conjunction with a restaurant's xx% off deal.

Figured I'd go ahead with it tonight. I love their e-mail:

Cooking is cobblers, so let the professionals do the work:DON'T COOK, JUST EAT!

And get fatter! I'm not one to talk, but I know that if I followed their policies by the book I'd be six feet under eventually! If only life was that simple, but no takeaways near here offer anything that's remotely healthy. Now where's that fried chicken and burger I ordered?

I think this can be used with existing accounts, or if not, it's easy to exploit it. Whereas with HungryHouse they try to make it difficult for you to do so. I've taken advantage of these codes a few times. I wouldn't spend this much on food otherwise.

Watchdog do normally embellish a story. But this was totally valid and without the exposure, I'm pretty sure Just Eat would've continued on regardless.

You're also right that all food operators make mistakes, but that's why they're regulated. The ones who aren't can carry on producing unsafe food without repercussion.

Nothing foolish about trying not to get killed having a meal.

5% TCB but hurry!

dammit, already ordered before seeing this

the bbc who employed jimmy savile slagging off anybody is laughable

shoot just seen this. heat added anyway

Well where i live, they have hardly anything on that site to order and also only have Indian takeaways (4 of them) on that from my area which i don't go for often at all really. so really bad selection in comparison to just eat for me anyway.

blaaah! Ordered yesterday... how annoying. I wish they'd give us some kind of heads-up on these.

You mean libellous, don't you?

Either way, it's not untrue. They admitted they had unregulated restaurants and take away premises on their books.
