I think my alerts are gonna be busy with 'deals' posted when using this code.
Decent if you can use it but that's such a big spend, great for 'all' those people planning on spending £150+ in the next 24 hours I guess, heated it anyway as it's a good discount just a shame the spend makes it a bit niche...

a rubbish offer quite honestly, others are free to disagree of course. it amounts to 13%
I believe that £150 may at a stretch get you 2 new release console games
Do I want a Switch....? DO I WANT A SWITCH?! DOOO I WANT SWITTTCHHHHH?

If it works with Preorders that would be a result.
Works on the Switch

I'm thinking it's gonna be used more for consoles.

You made a good choice
Won't compensate for their games being over priced in the first place.

Been dying to play Zelda for so long!

The Switch is the most surprising thing I've bought in ages. Revolutionised gaming for me. Went from having no time to play, to clocking up hundreds of hours on-the-go. When I bought it I didn't even think I'd use handheld mode!
..and yeah Zelda is amazing

This would have happened for me too if I hadn't let my 5 year old have a go.
any good deals on games?
Time to get some preorders going for some Switch games!
In the Ts&Cs:

"Save £20.00 when you spend £150.00 or more on Tesco 20 off 150 offered by Amazon.co.uk. Enter code VG20OFF150 at checkout."

Looks like someone at Amazon found the leftover Eggnog from the Christmas party and decided to brighten our Wednesday.

Still, a deal's a deal...

Over 14.86 million gamers can't be wrong
I can't get this to work for me and can't figure out what games are included/excluded.
I can't get it to work. I've narrowed down the ones included on Xbox one etc and it says it can't be applied even though I've added enough to make it £150+. Oh well...
It’s a deal, it’s just not a great deal. I’d keep the powder dry personally.
150 is a lot to spend to get 20 off
Doesen't work on the Xbox One X
I can't seem to get this to work for preorders.
by the time you complete one of them, the rest of them will be £20 off
Don' know why it won' work for me.all amazon sold..does it work with pre orders
IT HAS TO BE SOLD FROM AMAZON DIRECLTY!
Prices are stupid to start with
I'm getting stressed just reading comments from people who can't get the code to work.
Don't think I'll bother.
For anyone considering buying a switch...
BUY A SWITCH!!

It isn't like the time when everyone bought a wii for the motion gimmick, this thing will keep you entertained for countless hours!
I'm not sure how but after talking to them on the live chat it seems they've applied the whole of the £20 off one of my pre-orders so I've now got the new God of War for £26 - I'm happy with that!

£20 off a £280 purchase isn't that great of a discount ratio IMHO, you need to be spending close as possible to the £150 to see maximum benefit. Personally I'd say £260 for a Switch is still expensive considering how basic the tech is compared to even the massively older/cheaper base Xbox One/PS4. Don't forget another £50 for a game too and around £30 for a SD card to boost that paltry 32GB. Switch ownership quickly gets VERY expensive.

The Switch is doing way better than I imagined and has some fine games but that doesn't make it worth paying over the odds for it. When the base model is £200 or some better value bundles emerge I might buy it but I'm afraid a small £20 off doesn't cut it for me...

the price will probably drop nearer release too, so you'll probably get it for about £20!

What did you say/ask them out of interest?
Hmm, yeah, I'd have to over-spend by more than £20, based on Amazon's poor prices on the games I want, just to save the £20.

Decent if there's something around the right price that you were thinking about anyway.
£20 off £280 isn't a great deal for a Switch. It's £8 cheaper using the eBay/Argos deal.
If only i can get monster hunter world and a couple of preorder games, so mhw will cost £24
Nvidia Shield not eligible
Can anyone post a switch deal/link with this please?

Is it worth getting a switch and does it work with the above promotion?

Works as you can buy the Switch direct from Amazon but not worth getting (till it's cheaper) IMHO...

I would do your homework first to see if the switch is right for you. We can all say it is definitely worth it, which I will more than happily tell you it most defeinately is, but you need to set your expectation about what you are getting before you purchase. As others have stated there will also be an outlay of potentially more money spent not necessarily now but in the future such as memory expansion and obviously games. If you are one of many that have a busy life and don't get the chance/time to sit at your tv and play (xbox or ps) then this is great for pick up and play anywhere and anytime. Obviously if you love nintendo then yes its obviously a no brainer. Just bear in mind that if you prefer graphics over gameplay then the switch may not be for you, but just do some research.
